Nice app for the begginers in AR development. It mostly works OK , but one test failed: when the user is asked to turn off the lights, this action supposed to trigger the change in the AR object - the model of the city - I have been expecting that it will cause the city looks like it was a night 🌃 time, you know the lights from the windows in the buildings and stuff like that, sadly when I turned off the lights it reset the app! The app was not able to show anything - the camera was black.

It's a nice demo of current AR capabilities, as well as a basic guide for anyone thinking of creating an AR app. Works flawlessly on my Galaxy S21 Ultra. Everything is very smooth with no performance issues, unlike some other comments have mentioned. App might simply require a more powerful device to run well.

Here the ARCore team show again, that nothing changed since Tango. The same ridiculous attitude as before. - doesn't work with all ARCore compatible phones - no source code to be found - nothing to show how to get there with Sceneform. Totally useless. Update: It took 2 months to make this app available for all ARCore compatible devices. Change of 1 number is all it takes to do so, when the app was built cotrectly from the beginning. Content is still lacking.
