Great on mobile, small icons on tablet I love this on my phone, it's much better than the standard folder UI. But on a tablet (I have a Galaxy Tab) the icons are the same size as on the phone, and are difficult to see /reach. Definitely 5 stars if the app were more tablet-friendly. I'm not sure if this is possible technically, but it'd also be nice if the icons showed app-notifications like the Apps menu does.
Great flexibility on stock OS but buggy Update: crashes very frequently on my 4.1 & 4.1.2 Note 2 when working with labels, which is why I rate it 3 instead of 5 stars. The app that every droid user should have. Crams hundreds of apps into your homescreen and transforms your droid into a custom UI. Wonderful~
Folder organizer permissions The "Apps Organizer" works well and is a good way of cleaning up one's desktop. Very importantly, it does not require intrusive permissions. However, if one wants to organize their folders, they must use "Folder Organizer" either lite or the paid version. These later apps require the worst case permission intrusion. I refuse to use such apps that compromise privacy to that extent.
Can't understand why this app not default part of Android. Simple to use, flexible, almost perfectly intuitive. Would like to have ability to manually sort items within a group, or at least more kinds of stars; nested groups would also be nice. Minor bug:deleting app seems not to delete icon from AO. The Absolute Best Organizer! Have been using this app for a long time. Can't do without it! It's the best app organizer in the market. Set up your three icons in the tray and you're all set to manage all your apps. 1st icon: shortcut "list" of categories. 2nd icon: "default" configuration app. 3rd icon: The "Other Apps" shortcut that holds all the new downloaded apps until you either categorize them or uninstall them. Once in a while I search for a better organizer, but there just aren't any better than this one!
Simple, effective, useful, brilliant Like many others, I'm sure, I discovered this app via Titanium Backup. Then, once I used Apps Organizer, not only did it do what I needed for use with Titanium Backup, but it proved a very useful tool by itself. Then I realized that I wanted shortcuts in App Organizer "labels"; and for once I didn't mind an app upselling me: it suggested Folder Organizer, which had the feature I wanted. Seeing that Folder Organizer could export and import its settings and definitions, I checked Apps Organizer and voilà!, I was able to reuse my Apps Organizer definitions by importing them into Folder Organizer. All around, using this developer's apps has been a great experience. I was happy to buy Folder Organizer, and I will still use Apps Organizer with Titanium Backup.
