This is truly the most amazing app I've ever experienced. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to review an app... that's how good it is. A simple, free app that turns your smart phone into a pretty high quality VR camera. We use this to capture moments with our kids. Going back and experiencing moments in time in 360° WITH sound is amazing. Truly remarkable. Thank you Google for making this!

App is great and it's impressive how the pictures come out! Recent problem with viewing pictures though where the app immediately crashes (used to work on previous version). Can still take and share pictures, just not view.. When the app works properly again it will be 5 stars for sure! OnePlus 3T

Black screen while trying to load camera within the app. problem started after Nougat update. Phone -OnePlus3 ==================== Update -Thanks Google Developer team. After updating the app, the black screen issue has disappeared. Now, everything is working fine.I have tested it. Thanks

As someone else stated the app crashes when trying to view images on one+3T. However, it seems to work ok if VR Services are disabled. Hopefully the devs will fix this soon.

Camera doesn't work— OnePlus 3T [Edit] Works now. Although I thought it would have the photo sphere that I had in the native camera app if my old Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Still decent for panoramas

I love the idea of video recording but how about 360 video recording? At 1 step from left to right, it should allow go up and down, then move on. That would be amazing for people who can't afford a 360 camera

Images come out completely crosseyed - looks like app thinks I have a different viewer. I can see fine through other apps, Google cardboard apps don't work. S7 phone with Google cardboard viewer

Works great with my Nexus 6. But two big room-for-improvements. 1) Can't take sphere photos, only panoramas! 2) App doesn't recognize any "PANO ..." photos on the phone that aren't in the CardboardCamera folder. So if I want to view a sphere, first I need to capture the sphere with the normal camera app. Then I have to use file manager to move the sphere-photo to the CardboardCamera folder. Then I can open in this app. Not intuitive at all!

This app creates photos capable of being viewed as 360-degree photos on Facebook. However, I'm having problems with the latest version on my phone since it is not focusing properly therefore resulting to blurry outputs. I hope this can be fixed.

I love this app! I'm taking a few shots on all my travels. It's a little difficult when it's impossible to not have any motion in the shot, but taking the picture as slowly as possible helps to eliminate moving figures.

Crashes when viewing. The app is great for capturing, but crashes after the first VR view. Reboot, see one photo, choose another and it crashes. VR services enabled. OnePlus3T -- bug still present after update.

Everyone I show this to is impressed with the stereo vision. Transporting! Was good...the vr part of this app stopped working properly on my samsung s7. In my vr viewer the stereo image is not lined up properly. Looking for solutions...may be from the phone update...

As long as you take your time and try to pan smoothly (I recommend in portrait mode), this camera produces amazing results. One minus, though, is that it insists on storing images to internal memory.

App is Crashing once I hit camera button or hit sample photo.. My phone is infix zero 3 which is compatible with the application requirements

Not impressed. If this is your first time to see 360 photos then you really ought not to be giving a review. This app does not execute well. Portrait mode only ? No option to take photos of what's in front of you, musty be full 360 and not flexible in how you take the photos. Where did the 360 option go. Seems my Samsung S8 is a horrible phone. Maybe I should make a phone, the industry is full of idiots trying to make AI tools that do nothing for me or the customers. Bixby is another word for trash. The good news? Stick with your old phone that already has 360 photo capability so you do not need this app!

I am having problem in oneplus 3t nougat update.. it record pictures but whenever i try to make camera mode to my own picture app stops working.. please fix this..

Doesn't work, whether trying to view my own photos or protected ones,I just get random image fragments. Other VR apps seem to work.

Love the integration of image, stitching works great. However, I don't remember when this starts happening, but vr photos don't show up in my cardboard app anymore. They can be found in the photo app though.

I really want this to work... I have a Sony imx 21mp camera, phone is Le Max 2, that takes beautiful pics but everything is a blur through this app, it's focus is too​ near for any detail, please help Google!!! I can't wait to give this 5 stars

This is the future of memorable moments! Wonderful application. Like the idea with sound a lot! Really immersive. Stereo from single camera is amazing killer feature. Two notes: 1. I was unable to stich the beginning and the end of the panorama together properly without artifacts no matter how slow and gently I was moving. 2. After p.1 is single fixed, spherical panoramas are the next step. Compete VR immersion without borders!

I get VR photos without problems, but I can't visualise on cardboard mode because app shut down without any explanation. Support please? One plus 3T

Work ok before but now the camera won't focus so the photos I take are very blurry. This is on an axon 7.

Great app. I enjoy using it a lot. Records scenes up to 360 degree single slice. Would be nice to have it automatically restore scenes from Google photos (instead of manually). Would be nice to have more options for scene recording, e.g.: complete sphere, moving video. Would like to control the panorama photo quality. Please include an accelerometer-level indicator in the app, as well as a recommended speed indicator.

Now not able to view the photos captured and even the samples on my OnePlus 3T. capture issue is fixed though..

Updated Mar 17 - the restore photos from Google Photos seems to work now as intended - good stuff.

Now fixed! No longer works with android 7. Just gives a black screen when accessing the camera.

Edited review. After an update, issues have been resolved It worked when I first installed it but now no longer works with the newest Android version.

Crashes every single time I try to open!! App opens every time but when I try to view any 'VR Pictures' in VR mode then it starts crashing.No matter how many times restart or reinstall app. Please solve this problem!!!

Black screen when I press the camera icon. Phone then says "when do you want to turn your ringer back on" and app freezes. Samsung S7 edge with android 6.0.1

App worked fine on my old phone (Moto x) but it's out of focus all the time on current phone (Redmi note 3 pro)

Uses clever shenanigans to create real 3D images with only one camera. The downside is that you cannot capture the ground and sky the way you can with a 2D photo-sphere.

Works way better than expected. You obviously need a Google cardboard or other vr vessel to view, but those are inexpensive and it is a great way to be able to share trips and experiences

I have loved this app and it allows me to receive and send photos also, but today the pictures have become bleary when switching to cardboard viewer not sure how to fix this?

There seems to have compatibility issue with Huawei Mate 9. Photos taken are out of focus.

Actually uses the wide angle lens on my LG G5, giving more vertical visibility. This app is wonderful.

Worst. Just for panaromic shots. Neither has focusing capability or nor else good effect.
