Once upon a time this used to be one of the best photosphere camera apps. Now, it only does panorama shots. Bad idea. Seriously. Without photosphere, the VR function cannot be used to its full potential. On the other hand, photo and sound is a nice touch, but why on earth would you remove photosphere?!
Good concept, but not as polished as the Android photo spheres. Those are not 3d, but are more than just a panorama (up/down is included). It would be awesome if we could take multiple photo spheres in approximately the same spot, and let the algorithms reconstruct the 3d cardboard view. Especially if it can use existing 360 steradian photo spheres.
Does not open vr photo from main screen, but when in cardboard mode, it does. Magnet does not work here(it does in other apps) sometimes the whole vr view is moving by itself even when holding still. Capturing photo sometimes crashes for no apparent reason. This app needs hell lot of work to polish.
Nice VR camera app for 3D 360° panoramas. Did a decent job even with poor light and phone control. Amazing, really. (Moto G⁴ running Android 7.0) Please add a way to look around without moving my head, like a Bluetooth controller. It is tiresome having to crane my neck or get up out of bed to look around. I am a little farsighted also and have to wear reading glasses under the VR goggles. Hopefully future goggles will have adjustable lenses or a way to mount optional lenses into them.
This app is nice to see and hear what you were doing in the past especially when using a VR viewer, but when you use "free up space" on Google photos it gets rid of the photos. You can get them to show up again, but there is no audio. It makes me not want to use it.
Super great! One of the best uses for Google Cardboard. I wish the sharing feature had an anonymous option and that the image selection interface was a little faster (more images, like on iOS), but those are my only complaints! Best thing to show a friend!
