Old version was better. Slower and harder to load media, freezes and crashes regularly losing hours of editing work, and the other features are less self-explanatory and user friendly than before. Instead of doing anything to fix the app or get an app that doesn't need to be done on a phone they suggest 3rd party software. Just terrible all around company. Avoid at all costs! Customer service is a joke. The time wasted trying to make their garbage app work is not worth it.

Adding my voice to the chorus of disappointment. When the app finally works, usually after countless restarts of the device, clearing of caches, trashing clips that seemed fine 1 minute and then corrupted the next, even resetting my network connections on my phone, it makes some cool edits but they are almost completely out of my control. I've yet to make a final edit that was really satisfying because I'm working around all the errors in the software. All this and then try to share your video!

Not usable. I have tried connecting my GoPro Hero11 Black on multiple phones, both Android and iPhone. The camera says that it is "connected" but it will not fully connect to upload videos or upgrade firmware. The closest the app has come to be usable is being able to start and stop a recording. It has never connected enough to show video, upload video, or upgrade camera firmware. This app is useless.

If applicable, change the Wi-Fi Band on your camera to 2.4GHz. You may also connect with us via the Support Hub at community.gopro.com. Kindly indicate that you were referred from the Play Store.
