Can't rent a bike because the app doesn't work. First it couldn't send a text to my google voice number. Customer chat got me past that. Then I can't confirm my password because the keyboard pops over the box and somehow won't direct keystrokes to it. Customer chat was unresponsive after that. Why can't this be done on a website instead of an app, which would be more compatible and easier to use?

I've been wanting to try this for like two years now, so I'm greatful for a different new experience. The negatives: Handle bars on both bikes were crooked at about a 20 degree angle. Hard to ride with handlebars turned the wrong way. Rode from one kiosk to the next, parking where we were supposed to, and we got a parking fine for $20. They waved the fee when I complained but it wasn't fun thinking I'm getting fined when I didn't do anything wrong. Better to just ride your own bike.

Be weary of choosing these. There is no way to check the battery during the ride and there is a chance it will just shut down on you with little to no warning. Rather than charging you per ride they require you to transform your money into bolt bucks. I spent way too much to only get a few blocks with very short notice. Support has been very responsive but still won't provide a real answer due to system updates. I don't even live in an area that uses this brand.
