The “City Islamabad App” is the government service provider smart phone mobile application, developed exclusively for the citizens of Islamabad. The app bridges the gap between citizens and government departments by offering regulatory, consumer utilities and statutory services. At present, it has 7 sections and 44 services. The sections include e-police, Excise and Taxation, Capital Development Authority/Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, City Guide, ICT Administration, Notifications, and featured services with multiple services like Domicile Certificate, International Driving Permit, Corruption, Accident, Token Tax Payment, Emergency Numbers and Vehicle Registration, within each section.

Ratings and reviews

Far far from reality, regarding Excise & Taxation matters one can only pay Token Tax otherwise for rest of the things long queues are awaiting to welcome at Excise Office. There may be provision of doing biometric from mobile phone while sitting at home. When buyer has to visit Excise Office for inspection & biometric then this app seems to be of no use.
