Great idea, app buggy and incomplete I love downloading routes on the website so the app makes sense. However the search function doesn't always work properly and gets stuck and shows the same result even for completely different searches in different countries. Also, it would be great to see routes on maps in the app as I always end up having to go to the website anyway just to see the routes on a map.
Bad bad UX... Who was the designer who thought blue titles and gray tapable areas are a good idea? Why can't I see the map unless I select a track?
Very nice concept and good display of the route. My favourite navigating app. There is a bug that kept displaying the same route no matter what I searched for. Workaround is by uninstalling and reinstalling app.
Cannot find postcode Hmm not much use if search on postcode doesn't work, I entered town name too to no avail each time in got cannot find location. Then tried to pull up my routes, nope no chance only others I looked at online
Feature request: track creator in app I often map a route before I go and it would be great if I could do this in the app (today I always use the browser version of Gpsies on my laptop for this). Frankly, I am not aware of any app providing this, so either it would be a great USP or is a very hard problem, the latter I doubt, since it's all just APIs right? :-)
Limited functionality without GPS GPSies is great, but the app needs a GPS fix before it lets you explore tracks on a map. This is not always possible or convenient.
Note: the development of the app costs time and money. Because GPSies has just a little revenue (it's just my personal hobby), we ask for indulgence with regard to the further development. More great features are coming in the future- please stay tuned ;-)
