Robust and fast syncing across devices Syncs lightning fast compared to other apps I have used and so easy and straightforward to use. If like me you have experienced sync issues with remember the milk or astrid and came looking for something better you found it.
Pros: 1. Syncs with GQueues web and is pretty responsive when I enter dates that sync immediately with Google Calendar. This is a feature that is great about GQueues which is rare among productivity apps - two way sync with Google Calendar. 2. Easy to create tasks, adding dates, reminders, task duration and notes. - Easy to create your own system. Cons: 1. The "Add task" button should be in the lower right or left hand corner of the app where the user's thumb can easily use it, not at the top right. 2. Can't create smartviews in the app. You can only do this on the web version. - When you click on a parent task that has remaining subtasks, there is no prompt to stop you like there is on the web app. Needs to be consistent. 3. Clicking on a parent task with subtasks needs to show a prompt letting the user know that they are about to check off a parent task that has subtasks. The web app does this so why doesn't the Android app do this?
A couple years ago, I spent way too much time looking for the perfect to-do app--something that was flexible, good looking, and user friendly. Two years later, I'm still happy with GQueues. What do I love most? It's colorful, clean, and helpful. So many to-do apps just make me feel overwhelmed when I see everything I need to do. With GQueues, I set up associate my lists and sub lists with like colors that makes me feel good. The interface is really clean, and that makes me feel more on top of things. I've never had an issue with GQueues not working. And it has the features I need, particularly the ability to create subtasks and the ability to add notes. I tried other tools with more complex interfaces and features, but I found I spent more time getting organized than actually doing. GQueues helps me get stuff done. Thanks, GQueues!
I love GQueues but the Android app has a few sync bugs: 1) Sometimes, I move a task from Inbox to another queue but in app, it stays in inbox; 2) Recurring tasks that I have completed in the past are still showing in my Overdue smart queue (I have one item in web view for Overdue smart queue but currently 15 in Android app Overdue smart queue, which makes me scanning my Overdue smart queue in Android app in morning useless). Those 2 bugs build up overtime, the only way to fix is to clear app data then log into app again - not ideal as it takes a few minutes to sync everything.
For years I was an avid Toodledo user employing the GTD methodology, but constantly wanted added features and a better mobile app. GQueues answered all of the issues I was having and has an amazing mobile app. It's fast, clean, and actually enjoyable to use. I highly recommend this app.
This is the best task management app that I've ever used. I had always been looking for that one app to stick to, for all my planning and task management needs. This checks every box - colors for projects, unlimited sub tasks, intelligent input, two- way syncing with Google calendar etc. Also, 25£ for a year's worth of project planning is the cheapest among all apps with similar functions.
Only just started using it but comparing to other popular apps I tried it is a BEAST! Google Calendar integration is simply amazing.
* Fixed sluggishness for some devices switching between My Queues, Smart Queues, Shared with me, Tags
* Fixed issue with adding attachments directly from camera and microphone
* Fixed issue activating Google Calendar integration from the device - uses new Google APIs
* Updated Google Account login process to newest version
My Effectiveness: todo lists, tasks, goals and more for personal productivity!
