Edit 6/12/23: secret locations are finally back, I've bumped my review from one star to three. The new interface still isn't my favorite, I miss the kitch of the old AI, and I really dislike that I have to open the widget to refresh weather. -- New update is trash, app is useless now. I was one secret location away from finishing, that's been disabled, widget doesn't function, doesn't update unless you open the app. I'll be cancelling my subscription if these issues aren't resolved real soon. 😡

The strangest thing about this app is that it gives no notifications. When attempting to enable them, Android reports that it doesn't send notifications. I had it on iOS and really used it as my primary weather app. But definitely can't do so here unless they actually get some parity with what its Apple counterpart can manage. Certainly won't subscribe for merely enabling radar. It's a far cry from what they offer elsewhere, sadly.

I have an iPhone as well and I downloaded this app on my iPhone and it has a bajillion features more than this has. The Android version is completely anemic in comparison. This version is like a high schooler doing an angel fire website equivalent of an app which is bizarre because the other one works amazing. You'd think one would transfer over to the other... at least the quality would want to transfer over. Edit: I've spent a couple months with android carrot and I can't get a notification.
