Grammarly grammar checker and editor - how does it work?

1. Simply download the Grammarly app and enable Grammarly in your Keyboard settings.

Ratings and reviews

This is a pretty good app, but there's one thing that prevents me from having this be my default phone keyboard, and that's the complete lack of any haptic feedback. I have the haptic feedback on my phone turned all the way up, so when I use this keyboard, it feels so unsatisfying. If this had haptic feedback, and lots of it at the highest setting, I'd use this all the time. As it is, I only turn it on when I really need to edit something important and then immediately turn it off again.

I like this app. I've used this app off and on for the last since 2019 and I have not had any major complaints. My mind moves faster than my thick fingers, so I tend to misspell without knowing it until Grammarly pops a green line under my mistakes. It has saved me from a lot of embarrassment over the years. There is nothing else that makes you look foolish in a texting debate with strangers than attempting to win with misspelled words. The free option is great, but the premium is 5 stars

The app is so much better on Android than iOS, but it's still leagues away from the built-in keyboards. Grammarly makes odd word choices when it should just let the integrated keyboard do its thing. For example, during this review, I started using the Grammarly keyboard--it was capitalizing every word. And it used the UK spelling of capitalizing when I swiped for the US spelling. It's just not ready for prime time yet. I think it should follow the integrated keyboard and then suggest changes.
