B & Q Now their tills have new scanners which are compatible with mobile screens the app is brilliant, it's far better than plastic cards and I can look to find any offers to suit me when I want, great app and very easy to use
Useful app - when it can find the product! More often than not app reports "Cannot locate that product" when you scan barcode. Scanner itself is ok but on the odd occasion it does find a product it's very slow to load. Good idea, needs a LOT of work.
Edit. New app is utterly pointless, built in browser is insecure so you're unable to buy anything. And it tells you this within the app! Silly, frustrating and incompetent. Update from simple b&q club app to all encompassing b&q app now crashes it on opening. Used to work well.
Pointless Really don't see the point of this. As an example this is from within the app: "Please update your browser - Due to changes made to improve internet security, the browser you are using is no longer able to handle payment online. These updates are part of an industry-wide initiative to improve security standards". So there own app is not considered secure.
Horrible app. People who run B&Q this days simply don't care anymore. It's time for somebody who respect customers to take over this company in terminal decline.
Trying to log in says my details are incorrect. Trying to scan my club barcode doesn't work and there is nowhere to enter my club card number. Hopefully when it works I'll be able to show my virtual card rather than remember to carry the plastic thing around!
WTF? I am a self employed tradesman and finding what I need quickly on the go is essential. This app is absolutely pointless. To search you have to go to the bnq website where tells you you browser is out of date and must be updated. I use other apps such as Screwfix and they are great. Just use your own browser as this app has no use at all.
