Latest version is absolutely useless! It used to be an amazing app, now you put in a station and it tells you about trains that have already left. The board at the station might show 3 trains in next 5 mins, but the app shows none of them! Whomever decided to rewrite this app should be sacked immediately, I've just deleted it as the info it shows is useless and it's hard to use!
Unfortunately the changes have made the app worse. You now have to sign in every day and there's no option to change your password so you have to remember a meaningless string, or keep it written down somewhere. Not good. Also you now have to go through two steps to activate your ticket whereas you used to only do one. Update soon please.
Amended and upgraded my review following helpful advice from your customer service centre by phone. Main concern is still - why wasn't this change communicated - even the basics - to customers? I suspect the main reason you're getting so much bad press here - apart from the usual shock of the new - was that you seem to have failed to let anybody know in a way where the message would get through. Really bad project management and customer service on that front, I'm afraid.
What on earth have you done to this app?? The update has ruined it. Before it was simple and clear to use, now it's like your webpage, over crowded with rubbish irrelevant to me. The live departures board is now shoved to the side and you actually have to click on the train you want to see if it's on time - at first glance it looks like it is but I just clicked on it by mistake (luckily) and saw it's delayed by over 15 minutes! I'll uninstall and just use real time trains from now on. Ridiculous.
Three times I put in my card details. Three times it reverted to my old card. I went on to train line and did the booking. Much simpler even if it costs 25p extra. What was wrong with the old application? I purchased all my tickets with that and no problems. If it ain't broke etc. I've since sussed out that I have to sort my cards out on the website and not in the application.
Terrible update. Far too busy with loads of functionality which I do not need. Live trains doesn't even show where train is running on time unless you select the train you're interested in. It's 14th and still no m-tickets so I have to queue for a ticket at my destination. awesome. No way of buying the same ticket as before. You have to go through the journey wizard every time. Does anyone who actually travels on your network test the app? Total rubbish.
