Poor : waste of money Might as well use Trip Advisor : this guide does nothing to advance my knowledge of good beer or cover any of the country pubs I prefer to frequent. I had some regard for CAMRA .... but forget it. Use the price of this app to buy yourself a good pint in a place you enjoy !
Not a lot of use. As other reviewers have mentioned it fails to list many decent pubs in the area whilst listing many (in my view) less worthy. I live in Oxford and there is no mention of the Turf???? Also extremely limited in what it offers without a subscription. This is not helping the local pub industry. I shall be sticking to the Casque Marque App.
Now I have started to use it more I realise my last review was a little harsh. As I have travelled a bit since installing it, it seems to do well when I am in different locations.
I'm a Camra member and expected more from a 'Taster' version than a list of pubs near me that I already know, and a load of messages telling me to subscribe if I want any useful info. How can I tell whether to buy the app if I can't even try it out properly?
Assume the much anticipated new app has been shelved?
Misses most of my locals including Camra award winners.?! Perhaps new app will be better
