About this app

Bring your Green Mountain Grill into the 21st century with our grill management app. This app utilizes WiFi and Bluetooth technology and has a range of up to 40 meters in Local Mode. You also have the ability to connect your grill to our online servers in server mode. You can create grill profiles, monitor meat temps, set timers and alarms, and adjust grill temps from inside your home or anywhere. The app also features calibration tools to calibrate both air temperature and probe temperatures. Stay tuned for updates and additional features on future releases.

Constantly disconnecting. Old app didn't do that. In the middle of cooking if you switch apps or just like you screen lock when you come back it says it's disconnected..and then takes 15-30 seconds to reconnect to start showing the current temperature again. Also I have noticed at times the temp the grill is showing vs what the apps shows is off. The app lags behind quite a bit during heating cycle. Once again the old app didn't have any of these issues.

I can't believe this app could get worse! Now that it's Thanksgiving day and 20 degrees outside it won't connect to wifi and keeps telling me on Bluetooth connection to start the grill first even though it is already running by starting it on the controller outside. This app is like my brother in law and works when it wants to! This app seems to always crash when I have a holiday meal to smoke for extended family.

For safety reasons, a bluetooth connection is required to start the grill to ensure someone is near the grill before starting it. It sounds like you may be having trouble getting connected, please contact support@greenmountaingrills.com so we can help troubleshoot with you.

Updated app 1.3.5 restored my profiles, which is a very pleasant surprise. It also now is connecting again. Having gone to the non-prime app temporarily, I think the UI and features are better on this Prime app. The pause and rewind and skip forward on profile steps makes a huge difference compared to the non-Prime app. Thanks for fixing it!
