About this app

PocketWell is the official companion app of Wellness Together Canada (WTC), a mental health and substance use portal funded by the Government of Canada. Our aim is to support people across Canada and Canadians living abroad, in both official languages. With PocketWell, you'll be able to use research-based tools to measure and track your well-being, including a Self-Assessment developed by psychologists. The Mood Meter will also let you keep a log of how you’re doing through quick daily check-ins.

ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT
From the app, you'll also be able to connect with trained counsellors & crisis responders who can talk to you about what you're going through and help you through intense situations. Send a text message or call one of WTC's phone counselling lines any time of day or night to get support, available anywhere within Canada.

PRIVACY
The information you provide on this site belongs to you and is kept private and confidential. We will not sell or trade your personal information to third parties, as described in our Privacy Policy. (https://www.wellnesstogether.ca/en-CA/privacy/)

MORE FEATURES
- Support for all age groups: PocketWell provides resources for youth and adults.
- Always free: All of the resources on the PocketWell app and the WTC website are completely free—you will never have to pay to use any of them. This includes counselling and crisis responder support.
- Access our resource library: Use your WTC account to access a wider collection of resources and tools on our website, including expert-reviewed articles, self-guided exercises, online Peer Support groups, and more.

To access PocketWell, you’ll need to create an account, which you can delete at any time. If you’re not sure you want to sign up, you can still access many tools and resources from the WTC homepage.

I was recommended this by a crisis text line person. It was supposed to help me with motivation. I'm really confused how a check in that just mirrors back to me how I know I'm already feeling is supposed to help me with feeling motivated. Really disappointed with the guy from the crisis line. This is not the first time I've texted with them and I don't know why I continue to go back to them. They are always useless and just forward me articles from the kids help phone website.

There are a lot of great resources in this app but very easy to get lost. Clicking back often takes you all the way to the dashboard or WTC site. Under resources I wanted to sign up for the BreathingRoom but to create an account you have to agree to terms and privacy but there is no way to return to the create account screen to complete the process after viewing the terms. Click the back button sends you back to the WTC site. Love the concept here. Needs a bit more polish and integration.

I find this app v useful as someone w multiple mental/physical health diagnoses including a mood disorder. Sometimes we think we are on top of everything and doing fine, but the health assessment tool helped me to re-consider my current situation and see that I'm dealing with a lot more stress than I realised, and that I need to take better care of myself. I'm looking forward to using the mood meter and using this app as part of my recovery plan!! :)
