About this app

Attention

If you want to connect directly to your PS without the need of a PC check out my new app called PSPad. PSPad is the successor of ShockPad. If you still want to establish a connection via your PC then use ShockPad.

Introduction

ShockPad in combination with the PSJoy server and the official PS Remote Play program on your Windows PC offers you the possibility to use your smartphone as a D-Shock gamepad. You can play your favorite games with your smartphone acting as a D-Shock controller.

!You need to download and install the PSJoy server on your Windows PC!

A connection to the PSJoy server on your PC is always required. You can not connect directly to your PS. Please do not download ShockPad if you are looking for an application that can connect directly to a PS console.

Download the PSJoy server from:
https://grill2010.github.io/psJoy.html

PC-Requirements

• Windows 8.1 or newer
• Installed PSJoy server on your PC
• Installed and configured official PS Remote Play program
• Intel® Core™ i5-560M Processor 2.67 GHz or faster (Quad core highly recommended)
• 2 GB or more of RAM
• 1024 × 768 or higher display resolution
• A wired Internet connection for your PS and your PC is strongly recommended (or a 5GHz WiFi for minimum delays on WiFi)
• A high-speed internet connection with upload and download speeds of at least 15 Mbps is recommended

The PSJoy server is able to intercept the official PS Remote Play program on your PC. As the PSJoy server requires the official PS Remote Play program on your PC, Windows 8.1 is required.

Control games like GTA V, Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us, FIFA and many more with your smartphone.

Features

• D-Shock emulation
• D-Shock layout configuration
• Customization of template layouts
• Easy Connection Setup
• Real D-Shock gamepad support
• Bluetooth connection

This is a great app, it does its job perfectly. If I can suggest improvements, the app should allow the use of the motion control. The app needs a little check with ads, because in some cases it doesn't find ads so the app can block you for even 30 minutes. I hope the developer will read my suggestion and I hope him the best! (Sorry for my eng)

Thanks very much for your suggestions. You can actually enable gyro sensor (accelerometer) support in the settings of the analog sticks by switching the input mode. In regards to the ads bug I will fix this in the next version, sorry for that annoying problem.

I had to manually input my internet sever (domain name) bc the app couldn't auto-connect to it but I couldn't type in the last letter/digit of my server name. Why? Bc It only "supports" 16 characters as if a domain/sever name is limited. This should be fixed for ppl who pay for the other apps! I wouldn't pay for the so-called "successor" apps --- PSplay: Unlimited ($5⁹⁹) & the [non-lite] DroidJoy ($3⁴⁹) --- unless the automatic server connection is better & supports an "unlimited" server name.

There is no paid version for Shockpad. There are only successor apps. PSPad is basically like Shockpad but without the need of a PC. I'm glad you didn't purchase PSPlay and that you are happy. Edit: okay yeah I get it, you don't have to list all apps you wouldn't buy, I don't mind 😊 Will try to improve things in the future

it worked perfectly, there was a small delay but obviously it was from the connection speed, it did exactly what it said and is very awesome, I have recommended it to a lot of people who didnt think that it would work. keep up the amazing work 😄

Thanks very much. Unfortunately ShockPad get flooded with bad reviews and I guess it will be soon under three stars. Really thinking of removing it from the store.
