GrillEye® PRO+ (PRO Plus) is a  Grilling & Smoking Thermometer with patent pending Hybrid-Wireless and A.D.S. Technology, that monitors your grill or smoker while you relax with your friends and family. As soon as food temperature reaches the desired levels GrillEye® sends a notification to your Android device.

Direct Sunlight Readable Display:
Sun is no problem for the GrillEye® PRO+. The display is readable under any weather conditions. This way you can enjoy rich information about your food, without straining your eyes nor even trying. Everything is just there for you to read.

8 Probe Ports:
Grill to perfection without worrying about the number of guests. GrillEye® allows you to track, easily, the temperature of up to 8 different probes at the same time.

Remark about Bluetooth connectivity
Users with latest Android OS installed on their smart device need to activate geolocation services from settings menu to successfully connect to the GrillEye PRO Plus (Android OS requirement).
Moreover , you can connect using the following steps:

1. Activate Bluetooth® in your smartphone
2. Activate Geo location in your smartphone*
3. Grant access to GrillEye PRO app

Google™ changed its permission requirements beginning with Android OS 6.0.
As a result the locations permission is necessary to sync your Grilleye PRO series device with your Android device.

GrillEye® PRO application does not track your location.

Important: In order to have access to the Cloud feature you need to update your GrillEye’s firmware to version 1.122 and also download the latest Android app version.

Attention: If you have the latest Android app without updating the firmware to version 1.122 you will face compatibility issues.

Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a wifi/Bluetooth product. Period. Hands down. I mean, seriously... how hard is it to make an app that connects a device to wireless? Unbelievable. The hardware is just okay when compared to other similar products out there, but would be perfectly satisfactory if the device would just connect to the wifi and stay connected. Sometimes works when you use an IPhone, hardly ever works with Android. Constantly looses connection. SO INCREDIBLY FRUST

The app disconnects and hangs too often to be useful. The device itself does not charge correctly due to it being very difficult to insert the plug into the device. Even if it plugs in it does not register and start charging so you need to repeat a few times. My gut feel was it was going to break at some point. The plug feels low quality. Returned the device and uninstalled the app. When the device is not connected to the app it is useless. I would have used it in my kitchen but since it does not stay connected, there was no point. Firmware update, app is the latest, phone all updated. I love the probes but feel the unit should be better quality and app more robust and less buggy.

UPDATE 2: After updating firmware to 1.131, it is better, but still not perfect. I no longer have to turn wifi on and off to to reconnect, but it still occasionally disconnects. So can't trust it to wake me if temp drops or rises. Yes, I am using a mesh wifi. Not sure if that is the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app. Not sure what else I can do.

What's new

This version includes 2 key updates:

1) We’ve fixed the issue where temperature units weren’t stored in the device and required that you set-them-up each time. From now on, once you set the temperature units in the app, your PRO Plus will display it properly in every session.

2) We’ve fixed the graphs in order to load… and fast!
