Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a wifi/Bluetooth product. Period. Hands down. I mean, seriously... how hard is it to make an app that connects a device to wireless? Unbelievable. The hardware is just okay when compared to other similar products out there, but would be perfectly satisfactory if the device would just connect to the wifi and stay connected. Sometimes works when you use an IPhone, hardly ever works with Android. Constantly looses connection. SO INCREDIBLY FRUST

The app disconnects and hangs too often to be useful. The device itself does not charge correctly due to it being very difficult to insert the plug into the device. Even if it plugs in it does not register and start charging so you need to repeat a few times. My gut feel was it was going to break at some point. The plug feels low quality. Returned the device and uninstalled the app. When the device is not connected to the app it is useless. I would have used it in my kitchen but since it does not stay connected, there was no point. Firmware update, app is the latest, phone all updated. I love the probes but feel the unit should be better quality and app more robust and less buggy.

UPDATE 2: After updating firmware to 1.131, it is better, but still not perfect. I no longer have to turn wifi on and off to to reconnect, but it still occasionally disconnects. So can't trust it to wake me if temp drops or rises. Yes, I am using a mesh wifi. Not sure if that is the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app. Not sure what else I can do.
