Very beautiful and very difficult game. And also very slow, second part of the game I used hints all the time just to find out what happens in the end, got tired of solving puzzles and walking. Some things were hard to find even using hints. I loved sounds, singing(!) and voices, and beautiful language. Thanks for an interesting, atmospheric story! I will buy more games from you :)
Just finished this masterpiece. All I have to say is wow... Just, wow. Can't wait for the sequel. I'll buy all of your games. Other devs should take note: This is how you do a flawless point and click.
Can also confirm the save game bug ... Was working fine and saving until 30 mins in, when i used the main menu button on Android to exit. Then after a few hours instead of starting the game by clicking the game icon, i selected it from the "recent apps" list (square menu button on android lollipop). This started the game with the progress reset and brought me back to the language selection and game menu without a continue button. Maybe the game only saves upon a "proper" exit or something. Hope the report helps, please fix this and will increase rating, as the game is excellent otherwise and deserves a 5.
Great game, but theres no option to save my progress. After playing for 30 minutes I backed out to the main menu, then closed the app. When I came back to it later my only option was to start a new game!? Im hoping this is a one time bug, and not the norm.
I really wanted to like this game. I had a difficult time getting into it. The graphics were pretty but quite useless in 90 % of the game. You can't just have nice window dressing and weak gameplay. The story was nice but it wasn't great. The narration was slow and almost annoying. I had a game ruining glitch when despite doing everything right the raven's chest failed to materialize. I wasted my money on this very short, lackluster game.
Enchanting game that feels authentic to the Nordic/ Viking era...I had a few minor quibbles with the darkness of a few of the scenes, and a few places where it was not obvious you could move there, which did result in some random tapping. It wasn't enough for me to subtract a whole star though, as there is a free hint system and especially as this is obviously a meticulously researched labor of love. Particular favorite: the singing puzzles- those were a new game for me, and the male singer has a gorgeous voice, adding to the delight and enjoyment of this novel twist. Highly recommended.
Fixed savingbug first time you start up the game. The game now saves itself when you play the game.
The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle is a hilarious tongue-in-cheek adventure game.
