Works quite nice, recommended! I'd recommend GK, it's a solid working shopping list which is really making shopping easier for me. What bugs me a bit is that GK does not offer a website where you can manage all the data from your computer. Sometimes it's just easier to use a real keyboard and have a bigger screen. However, I didn't regret the switch from my previous shopping list app at all.
Grocery King So so good. Better than all the others I have used. What I would as an elderly bachelor really like is a recipe import like Paprika and a special shopping list just for that specific recipe with all the spices etc that these recipes seem to need. ie shop just for that special Indian treat or whatever. I do like the pantry/ fridge idea. - never know what's lurking under all that ice in the freezer.
Help Please I downloaded this thinking that if I plugged in my recipes and went thru them adding different items to my list is would keep a running tally of the items that I hit mulitple times. For example, if I make Teriyaki Chicken and Sesame Chicken I should be able to hit Chicken on both recipes and my list say 2. It doesnt do this. Am I missing something???
A few tweaks but phenomenal app! They need to fix the recipe section to upload into grocery list and be able to upload receipt copy from file instead of forcing you to use camera. Wish bar code scanner read my loyalty cards better, too. Otherwise, this app is the bomb! Happily bought upgraded version and highly recommended it to my friends and family ☆
Pretty, but too many flaws This app is visually very well made, but it needs some major workflow improvements. Isles are sorted wrong (14 before 2). You can't (without major pain) have multiple stores for one list, let alone different isles numbers for different stores. The app has great potential, but the Devs seem to have developed only for their workflow (which must be very different from mine). Cannot turn off GPS tracking = RAM resource hog.
Love it! I am a super OCD organized person. I can make my list, arrange by aisle, make muy own category labels, break down prices, coupons, and even take photos of my items (great for when your spouse goes shopping and never gets the right things!). There is price comparisons, and I know before I go how much money I will be spending. Well worth the pro edition! Awesome app!
✔ Ability to delete Aisle tags. Note that you can rename an existing aisle tag from Item Edit screen.
✔ Recipe view height has now been increased to address visibility issues on some devices.
✔ A new setting to optionally change item price field from ATM style to traditional number entry.
✔ Price of item in the list view now shows final price after taking into account coupon savings and tax.
✔ many other minor improvements and bug fixes.
