All the essentials, but left out some convenient functions. Probably nlmy only real disappointment is that there is no way of searching your messages! I mean, I feel like it's common knowledge and easy to implement a search, but it isn't there. Other than that, it provides a good way of communicating with a lot if people, organizing media sent in chats, and polling a lot of friends or coworkers.
I use groupme in me business to keep me connected to my team. It has been very effective for accountability and coordination. Edit. Tried to add new members but they don't get access to the group even when their names show in the group. I delete them and get someone else in the group to add them and they have access. Any ideas???
No doubt one of the best messaging apps out there. The only problem is sharing videos. Almost all the time they take up too much time and most of the time it will say "Error, Retry or Delete". (Retry button doesn't work btw.) Also the 30-sec limit should be bigger.
Great app except that it stops sending notifications to people who don't respond. For a group of students, they need the info even if they don't actively respond to everything and there is no way to disable this feature which is frustrating. We have to use multiple sources to reach out because of this feature and that sort of defeats the purpose of the app altogether.
The guy who used to have my phone number made a group me account so when I put my information in, our accounts merged and it's just a nightmare. Had to completely delete my account and create a new one and it's still trash. It never lets me share links or pictures.
Great app. Love all the current features. Two things though: I wish it had tighter security and the automatic dark theme doesn't seem to be automatic. The dark theme never turns on by itself. Twitter's app automatically switches to its dark theme when it's dark, I just want Groupme to as well. Currently using Note 8.
