A Mostly Good Messaging App The main advantage of GroupMe over texting is that it's multi-platform, and it's easy to add people to groups. There's no limit to group chat size, unlike Snapchat. The main disadvantage is that it doesn't handle photos and videos very well, especially videos. Videos longer than a few seconds either fail to load or take more than a minute to buffer, and it's impossible to upload a lot of pictures at once. Overall good, but there are some bugs.

It works as intended, BUT It tracks practically every move you make, every website, every app, and it just sits in the background collecting data on you. If you don't care about that then go for it. I wouldn't be using it if I had a choice, but it's what a group aim involved with uses so I disable it and just turn it on periodically to get updates from them. I left it on for an hour and had Duck Duck Go track it and it tried 244 times to get info from me in that timeframe. Insane.

Can't get past the login screen. Have tried to set up account using email. Google, Facebook, and windows. All l produced an error message. The app looks intestine but i can't say much if I can't even create an account. Will gladly update with more stars and a positive review should this problem be fixed and the app is deserving of the edit. Thanks.
