Overall Groupon is really great, user friendly and sometimes has just what you're looking for. However, at times it seems like it has one too many deals that no one even wants lol. I've gotten some great products and services through the app and some not so great ones as well, but I'd say it's worth the risk because you are saving some money.
I ordered an item 3 weeks ago and it has still not arrived. I contacted Groupon and they told me to contact the seller as they cannot refund me. They gave me the link to the sellers website and none of their buttons worked. I had to Google them to get a phone number to find out after the hours of trying to get a refund, the sellers are now closed and I cannot leave a message. I have then emailed them to be told nobody monitors their emails. I have gone back to Groupon and they have confirmed they cannot support me despite them being the platform I purchased my item from. Be careful, you may get some good deals but when something doesn't arrive you will get no support at all!!!!! All I want is a refund so I can go elsewhere and nobody can help me despite complaining over and over again and never receiving my Order!!!!!!
Awesome even when a Groupon is bought and place of purchase is no longer in business. Groupon don't hesitate to refund your money. I recommend Groupon to everyone. Only problem I've had is I purchased a dress and there's no refunds only if defected, sizes , are not comparable to the store so be very very aware. It says no refunds I would think twice about purchasing that item.
You need an update fast. Please put the option to say no that the billing address is not where the item will be shipped. I was speaking to customer service and they told me the billing and shipping address need to match for the order process to go through. I do not live at the billing address used on the account. Im trying to ship the items I want to a different address than the billing address. Please put that option fast because I am trying to purchase some items that I NEED like new shoes for future jobs and clothing. Please please please. Put that feature.
Customer service issued a refund for a Groupon with very confusing terms. The beginning of the fine print said that reservations are required but further in, it states that walk-in are accommodated. My husband finaly made up his mind to go with the Groupon but customer service refused to cancel the order. The Groupon now sells at a higher price and they will not credit the difference so that I can repurchase it for the same price. I am very disappointed in the service.
I love Groupon! It's why I am so addicted to online shopping!. Most are good deals, but you do have to be careful cuz some are not. I've never had a problem with customer service, always received my money back if there was ever a problem. I believe every conversation should start with "so I was grouponing today.. ." I know most of nine do!
