Really wanted this app to be amazing because I live in Arizona and to be able share what works and doesn't would be amazing but nothing loads and I don't know if it is my phone or my area but I don't have more than the first two or three pictures load... just really disappointed I was hoping for a community type app like facebook for gardeners.
I want to love this app, I really do! But I keep getting errors and such then not being able to get answers. Posting a project it says "you must have an update to make it public" yet I have 2 updates and still get the same error ..
I love it except I wish the app didn't default to showing only posts within 72 miles of where I live. I always broaden the radius to 300 miles, but if you leave the app and come back it goes back to 72 miles, it's just a little obnoxious. Also you should have a 'contact us' function in the app if you plan on improving it.
It looks like I will have a lot of knowledge for plants in my garden. I just bought a new home and the gardens are full of plants that I'm not sure what they are and I notice lots of perennials so I'm excited now I'm connected to this site. Knowledge seems to never end.
Cool app for gardeners. I've tried to use Instagram to focus on gardening, but that's not designed for questions and answers. I bought a new house and I wasn't sure what kind of plants were there. I posted a picture and asked about one plant. The comminity identified it as a fast-growing invasive that would choke out other plants. I had no idea what it was, and GrowIt gave me the answer. The app is a little clunky to move around in, and it will be even better when more people use it.
I love how people with green thumbs or not can use this app and get as much information needed to make your gardening easier and much more fun. Also it's a great place to meet fellow gardeners and share their experiences and stories with you.
Performance updates and enhancements.
