Looks rubbish on tablets, just loads of wasted screen real estate. It's really not good enough, especially considering the importance of tablets in the market place in 2017. How can a huge bank be so incapable of complying with even the most basic of app design standards? Let's be honest all this really is is the mobile website embedded in a wrapper. A poor effort and not worthy of being called an app.
Waited & waited for the update that would make this apps usability better than the mobile website. Unfortunately not to be. No convenient fingerprint secure id login. Took a while to find capability to access or manage pending payments within 'Payments & Transfers' section (like on the website) but in the app its called 'Transfers & Payments' instead, & you have to then confusingly additionally press 'please select' to get there, despite having already initially having done so on the actual account name in the first place so no familiar consistency.
April 2017, its fixed again, but how long will it be before you fail to test a new update and it fails again? Please improve your testing of any new versions. 1 March 2017, my Galaxy Tab S2 says you have now made the app incompatible... Again...what have you failed to test this time. You need to improve your processes to stop inconveniencing your customers. 19 November 2015 great app until the latest update, now stops every time. Unusable.. Update 4 December Finally seems to be working again. Please improve your testing in future
Too many adverts for other products! The amount of space for each account is too big, want to see more accounts in one view. The reference eg train ticket field is not visible once a payment is made. Would be useful to be able to see that in your statement as well.
OK, so you fixed the bug that stopped it working on tablets! But its still rubbish on a tablet! Tablets work best in lanscape, why cant the app auto-format between landscape and portrait mode. Also allowing screen zoom for those of us getting on in years and squinting at the small fontwould be a help.
As of 1st March app no longer works on samsung tablet. Will have to have paper statements or change banks. Lloyds please comment? Thank you for responding with a fix to the tablet problem. The app is generally very good and easy to use. I will upgrade my rating to a 4 star.
