cluttered mess of an app, clicked notification popup to approve a payment, it opened the app but didn't take me to the approve screen! So where is it if looking manually? must be tucked away somewhere behind multiple menus?? need a clear way to view things awaiting approval! this ain't good enough! a notification bell at the top seems like an idea too! anyway, I had to force close the app and open it again for the approval to appear . but by that time my payment had expired... dreadful!

The app freezes under Android 15 on a Pixel 8. Everything works fine until logged in at which point the Halifax screen refuses to respond to touches anywhere. Update: I've discovered the reason and it's down to terrible app coding by the Halifax. When you reinstall the app and reach the main screen the app overlays "helpful" suggestions which are *exactly* the same colour as the main screen so almost invisible. Unless you click exactly on the suggestion's "X" the screen becomes unresponsive.

Don't get clear warning or comms about fees or charges etc beforehand. Giving me no opportunity to rectify. Can't find transactions or balance going back beyond 12 months to verify the charges. Contacted via the app chat, it failed every time i tried to log back in, causing the customer service rep to time out and close my chat. Turned out there was no fee. so the app initially gave me the wrong information. Not to mention all the latency and log in fails even though I used biometrics.
