App works fine. Delivery times are way too long, which kind of takes away the convenience factor. Put in an order at 11:40am. Eta was 12:10-12:20. At 1240 I called and the restaurant said "your food was done at 1205, the driver just never showed up." Ended up having to go pick it up myself. Got there at 1250 and the driver hadn't even arrived yet. Never is this app again. Don't waste your time or money
Placed an order, was called and told the order was cancelled because the restaurant had a water leak. Fine, I placed another order at a different restaurant, an hour later I called the call center to find out my new order had been cancelled 4 minutes after I had placed it, I did NOT receive a call telling me this. So, after placing 3 different orders and waiting 2 hours, I still have no food. Grubhub is a big POS. Oh, did I mention I've also been waiting an hour for a return call from a Grubhub supervisor... nothing.
Business and politics do not blend. 50% of your employees, independent contractors and customers will be unhappy with your attitude. It is hypocritical to espouse inclusion and tolerance while practicing division, intolerance and veiled threats. Uber dumped their rouge, maniacal CEO, for the better. GH board may consider the same.
For months now this app has refused to process payments at the end of orders. Website works fine but the app fails with a generic "we can't do that right now" type message. This is the case on multiple devices of mine. This is still a problem. Still a problem (12-27-2016). Still a problem (02-24-2017). Still a problem (04-13-2017). Still a problem (06-26-2017). Again (07-17-2017). Finally working more consistently (09-22-2017). Still frequently buggy. Also spammy notifications about rating restaurants and the app itself so still one start for me.
It still makes things way too easy. Promoting my laziness with good food once again. Still good. Still good. Still good. Still good plus 5 lbs.. ok, now I'm begining to think that there should be some intricate skill game involved before you can order.
List of restaurants in the delivery area is usually wrong. I always have to call after placing an order to double check if they'll actually deliver to my order, kind of defeating purpose of the app.
