Been playing this game for while and had initially gave it 5 stars because it was a lot of fun with good graphics and stuff but lately it's been freezing repeatedly and I've reached out to the devs with no response. At first I thought it was a temporary issue that would surely resolve itself within a day or 2 but it's been nearly 2 weeks at this point with little change. If it doesn't get better soon, I will have no choice but to uninstall.

Game froze on me at a most untimely moment (at the screen advertising top up, go figure) so I clicked around the area thinking it just needed my input. Stayed frozen for about 20 or so seconds and when it finally loaded back, Im at the purchase screen, finished with a purchase. How an app can bug out to the point where it still registers my clicks without taking me to the next page is beyond me. And good luck getting a response from the devs

Coming from King's Throne to this is a pleasant experience. The gameplay loop at its most basic is exactly the same: gather resources to become more powerful to collect more resources, repeat ad infinitum. At some point this gameplay loop may not satisfy, and will hold my attention for only so long. However, what Simure Vikings has is an art style I greatly appreciate, some nice music, and good aesthetics framing the gameplay mechanic (with some lovely touches). There's also more voice acting than I expected. What I like the most is how mature the framing of the game environment is. Yes, there is a 'collect lovers and have children' aspect to it, but it's handled more tastefully than other games of this nature. Each lover has a background story which builds up a picture of your relationship with them. The main game has a lot of story so far. It'll occupy interest for a while as yet, assuming power requirements aren't too excessive. It even gives an illusion of choice in the story (I doubt it makes an actual difference). Admittedly some battles during story progress make no sense whatsoever, and at one point it seems to suggest the next 'battle' is a different mini-game (which would change up the gameplay formula) but went back to the standard battle. The game does have its issues. There are odd graphical errors where the wrong character art is used which confuses at first, but in some circumstances seem funny. Some mini-games are essentially pay walled as are some characters. Unfortunate, but seemingly standard in the mobile gaming space. When choosing your character there is a lot of diversity, which I think is commendable. Dialogue through the game doesn't necessarily reflect this choice, and neither does the choice of lover. The aesthetics they've wrapped the standard gameplay mechanic in is beautiful, with a mature approach to the game world and relationships. There are certainly areas of improvements and changes I'd like to see to reduce monotony, but the story suffices so far.
