RWH Advisor is an Android app developed to help in planning for a rainwater harvesting system in buildings.
KSCST has led the development of this 'Do it yourself RWH Tool' in collaboration with other institutions and expert resource persons and supported by UNESCO.
The app gathers certain basic details and presents the results on the options for installing a rainwater harvesting system either for 'Store and Reuse' or 'Recharge' options. Under the option of 'Store and Reuse', it will suggest the details of tank with possible storage, dimensions, costs, pipe and filter details. Under the 'Recharge' option, it will suggest the number of pits, its dimensions and the costs aspects. The resulting output can be saved as PDF for future reference.
The application is available on web at http://www.rwh-advisor.info and also on mobile phones with Android.
