Awesome job, but... When I slide open my phone (Samsung Transform Ultra) it crashes and I lose ALL unsaved progress which may happen a lot since I type stuff out a lot on the physical keyboard. and I would have docked a point anyway for no magnetic lasso. But it's still the best on the market. I'll come back for that 5th star when th crash is fixed and I get something at least similar to magnetic lasso.
Unstable. Very unstable. As I mentioned in the light version review, I've got a TF700 with a Tegra 3 1.6, 1gig of ram, and 64gigs of storage, and it tells me 'there's not enough memory' and crashes constantly. It's not an issue of memory on my end. I'd guess it's the fact I'm running on Jellybean and it needs a patch. Needs an autofill tool. I can't save any images or add layers without it crashing. It does work as an art toy though, and I do like what it does on that end. With a little work it could outshine the more expensive Sketch Pro. As it is now, I can't recommend it unless you want what is essentially a digital Etch-a-sketch toy. It's too unstable to put much effort into any art project using this, but it's a fun toy while it works. A lot of good ideas here, but it needs more work.
Freezes on galaxy note Brilliant app when it works. Now just freezes when selecting colours. Please fix, want this excellent painting tool to work again. Would be 5 stars if it was reliable. Best app so far for blending and colours. Had a day using it and now its frozen again losing unsaved images.Very annoying. Please fix. Just blank screen now.
ALMOST there the fact that you can build your own brushes is excellent, actually, and I was able to create some very smooth brushes. but it crashes a LOT on my galaxy note 10.1, to the point that I'm afraid to change tools or menus. sometimes there's a little glitch at the start of a stroke which makes the opacity go solidly dark even if pressure sensitivity is set to detect opacity. also, I don't really see both opacity and width working together? not sure why I can't apply the blur setting to custom brushes? oh yeah and if you could stop the colour palette popping up my tablet keyboard, that would be great. thanks! I'm actually very impressed with the app, as the brushes feel great and are customisable, but some tweaks would be good.
Save your money -- not supported I've been using Autodesk Sketchbook and was looking for a drawing app with selection and smudge tools. This app may have those, but they're either broken or operate in some non-intuitive way. Force-close issues often occur when trying to recover an old session. Rotate and resize functions start, but never lock. In short, lots of dumb little bugs. Multiple emails to the dev went unanswered. I'm going back to Sketchbook.
One word: smudge Love that you added this feature. In fact this was the very reason I decided to buy this app. Needs to be far more robust though. Pressure sensitivity is a must, that and a better way to control its size. If there's any feature you should focus on most in the next version its this. Also a layer transparency lock would be nice. Over all good work!
