Veggie Pact doesn't work, but the rest is good! I've been using Pact about a year, and I've loved it more often than not. About a month ago, veggie pact quit working, and I haven't been able to use it since. I've created a workaround solution by going on a break from that pact a week at a time, and every Monday, before it forces me to cement my choices for the week, I attempt to submit a veggie. No luck. But it's pretty good about syncing with RunKeeper, and I manually sync MyFitnessPal, so no complaints there.

This app used to be great. USED TO BE is the word. Everything used to work until the new Android update now I can't take pictures for my veggie pact. With no update in the future anytime soon is disappointing. I just want to do my weekly pact, but I assume they like not having to pay people whole certain pacts aren't working. Really tempted to get rid of app at this point. FIX THE CURRENT PROBLEMS.

So far it's been an excellent motivator. However it continues to advertise fitbit integration but will only reveal that they're NOT currently integrated after you find out your workouts are missing. The help team does an excellent job of responding to emails when there's a concern, but they won't get 5 stars until they deliver what they advertise.

Great concept for a app. Would enjoy it better if it actually works better period last 2 days I worked out of the Ymca and my house, in both days its cut me off after 20 minutes of working out. I do not have time to sit and wait around to do more working out to make up the time. And go figure it's the last one I need to complete my pack for the week. More to come.....Also dreadful customer service

Would be great if they'd fix it I've been waiting forever for them to fix the fitbit integration. They claim they're working on it, but they've been saying that for more than 6 months. It really irks me that I do the work, and have the ability to supplement my income, but they won't get on board! After 6 months, I've barely earned $20, it would be soooo much more if they counted my freaking workouts and steps.

Doesn't work, they know, and won't fix it. It doesn't work with FitBit or MapMyFitness any more. It won't submit my pictures any more for veggies. I used this app for many years successfully, and loved it because it motivated me so much, but now it's no longer working. I've messaged them multiple time asking about it and they said it's a known issue, but don't know when it will be fixed. As soon as I get my minimum to withdraw my funds I'm closing my account.

Thanks for your review Bill! We do use internet connectivity to digitally verify Pact sessions at this time. I've been using the app for close to 2 years and enjoyed it until recently. I noticed that I hadn't been earning my rewards since Oct! Come to find out my account had been blocked with no warning...still not sure why. I updated my payment info as directed by customer service, but still not earning my rewards. What's the point of the app if I'm not earning my rewards?!?
Neat idea, too much touch required It went from 2 stars to 3 for me but it's down to 1 now. App doesn't function and freezes. Have been unable to log a single veggie this week because of app performance. Reported it at least 3 times now but no response or resolution. Anticipate that I may be charged a lot of money when it's because the app wouldn't let me log.
Horrible App Used this app for a while and ran into constant issues. They don't give you credit for workouts completed. Demand extensive proof of gym attendance as if you're applying for a home loan. The tech support staff are not helpful at all. They don't answer emails if you have any kind of issue with the app. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Pact App. There's a reason they have a low rating!
I really hate this app, it's incredibly broken, I can't complete a single activity. I've contacted support but theyll only credit for the day I actually reported the problems. I guess they're going to steal like $140 from me today and I'll have to dispute the credit card charge. DO NOT USE THIS APP, IT OS A SCAM
Definitely helpful to keep me motivated! There are a few occasional bugs, but the support team is great at addressing concerns as they come up. I recommend this to anyone that struggles with staying motivated...nothing motivates like money. Helps to build the habit, and provides a nice little reward once you have the habit established!
Stay away and save your money Poor customer service when it comes to the partner applications. Lack of support for main steam step counting applications. App is horrible at tracking walking motions. Partner application for tracking steps is just as bad. Not worth the time or the money that you will have to pay due to a shoddy application that lacks proper support for their customers and partner applications. Total lack of genuine customer service. Not even trying to resolve this issue with the partner applications.

Hi Randy, thanks for the second chance! I see we processed your refund and I just responded to your ticket with some tips. Just let me know what I can do for you. Just make sure you are entering the correct paypal email address that you have on file with us when you try and withdrawal your rewards! It used to work fine for a while but it seems Android is no longer an option for updates and bug fixes. After the Fitbit sync ended and their "fix" was emailed nothing else ever occured nor did the fix work. Pictures won't upload sometimes, gym check in get disconnected or don't find the gym period. While it is phone related issue, it's mostly because the app never gets updated for newer OS editions. If you are running Android 4.4.4 you might be fine but if you have anything released in the past 2 years your not gonna have a solid experience. I'm ending my pact, it was fun but now I'm no longer obligated to sync food diarys, check in at gyms and take pictures of food for 20cents.

Thank you for your review! We're stoked to hear you're back on and staying on track with your health and fitness goals using the Pact program! Keep up the great work! Great concept, if it worked properly. There's a major gap between the vision and execution. Constant problems with getting Veggie pics uploading. And the app says that it partners with Fitbit, but there's an "integration" issue that keeps that from happening that's been know for months with no timetable for resolution.
Don't use this. Support sucks and will charge you even if you've done the workouts. I was charged 50 dollars even though I completed the pacts. Support never responded to my multiple emails. Stay away! I've moved to Step Bet and will never look back..
Great idea doesn't work properly Kept kicking me out of the gym when I was working out with out me choosing to check out. Couldn't use other apps or music. I was afraid to touch my phone once I got it logged. Started 1st pack. Completed 6 days even with many restarts for fear of being charged and not getting proper credit. No payment on Tuesday as expected. Pact amount is a minimum of $5 for a missed workout. Way high IMO. Q&A isn't up to date. No delete. Could only find freeze account. Hopefully the same.
I tried to create a profile online before downloading the app and it asked for my payment info and automatically created a gympact with the highest stakes for me without telling me it was going to do that. I didnt even want the exercise one i was trying to look at the food ones, and now it won't let me delete it. Ridiculous. Are they going to start charging me now, when they didnt even let me pick or edit the pact i wanted?
I've been using this for awhile, putting up with it turning itself off during workouts and making me start over - either I stay extra time, or have to work out an additional day. This week, my PACT cut out and I needed the day and couldn't stay. I sent them a photo of the gym with the time on the wall, and my gym gave me a verification of my attendance that night. PACT still charged me $5 for a workout I TWICE verified.
I think it is ridiculous that you would have an app available that doesn't even work right for Android users. Can NOT post any of the food they eat to get credit for it. So you never make your goal. what a complete waist of time and money!
THE "SNAKE OIL" OF WORKOUT APPS This app will steal your money. DO NOT USE by any means!!! I couldn't sync my workouts from my fitbit. I had walked over 100,000 steps and even still, not one workout was registered, and I "lost" my pact. They removed the funds from my account after I had already mentioned to them my issues. SCAM ARTISTS! Wish I could give a 0 star rating.
Worst app ever. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! Don't let them fool you, they keep taking your money weekly even if you think you have canceled your account and their customer service is awful! These people are crooks who are making easy money pulling from your account every week.
DO NOT USE!!!! Used this app for a week, never worked, deleted the app weeks ago! Just been informed by my bank that they have taken £119 from my card??? Fraud team is investigating! I thought the whole idea was that they gave you money?? Scam artists!! Do not use or give them payment details!!!
I tried updating my PayPal account since it said there was an error in my payment. I didn't change any of my PayPal info so I don't know why this happened. I couldn't update any info even after logging out and uninstalling. It's been 4 weeks of no rewards and I haven't gotten a response back to resolve this issue either.
Won't sync no reply from admin I joined this app excited because I knew I would not have a problem getting the steps. I linked it to my fit bit but it was never saying I got any steps. I would force sync and it would say I had no activity. I got at least 14000 steps every day! I messaged the admins 3 times and never got a reply. Now they just took $50 from my account! I feel like I've been scammed.
It was fine until I started the veggie pact. The app kept crashing and although I have sent many emails I have nothing back. It looks like this app will unfairly cost me for failing a pact that I am unable to fulfil due to the fault on the app. In all not a bad app. Terrible customer support.
Nice App and Good Support UPDATED: Problem solved the same day and now my app is submitting. THANK YOU! ---- I tried submitting my omelets with tomatoes and jalapeños 4 or 5 times and it keeps failing. I just started the app and this is my first submission. I tried with my data and wifi. Please help me troubleshoot. I don't want to owe money because i couldn't get the app to work.
Works great but the veggies thing needs work on tablets. The camera view gets stretched on landscape mode and other users' pictures get cropped so much that you can barely see them. Works fine on phones though.
If you're checked into the gym that's all you can do with your phone. Don't try to follow a workout on your phone. Change your music. Respond to a text. Anything. I've used this app for over 2 years and I've had to report an issue pretty much every time I go to the gym to get it counted, or rely on syncing runkeeper or fitbit. Clearly they know there's and issue and either can't fix it or just don't care. Either way is really disappointing.
Great motivatonial idea, but the app doesn't work. I can't link MyFitness apps to it. My PayPal won't link. Tried to log in on my phone's browser, wouldn't recognize my password. Tried to reset password, and the email link doesn't work. But once all tboses things get worked out, would be great.
THIS APP IS SO BAD. It DOES NOT work with other apps in order to log a workout. Too many errors. Once you give the app your card info and make a pact, you can't take it back. Fine. Except logging a workout is buggy AF. Walk for an hour? Nope. Only 20 minutes "count." ??? You can increase your pact in the middle of the week, but not decrease it or even undo the changes. This app is built to steal your money.
Used to love it As of recently, I can't connect my fitbit; I'm fighting with customer support over every runkeeper I do; I'm getting charged for exercises I've completed and had to contact customer support multiple times to adjust. Not worth the hassle anymore.
Integration issue with fitbit charge 2 I've had an integration issue with my fitbit charge 2 for over a month or so. I've been getting the run-around and am not getting an answers to why. I feel like they don't care at all about my issue and am brushing me off. It was an issue noted on pacts Facebook and it was specified that it was fixed. IT'S NOT! 😡
The idea is great... I love the idea behind this! Money is always a good motivator. However, the app is super glitchy. It works great for a month or two then I have to contact support everyday to get my workouts to sync properly.
I used this app in the past but no longer do. After possibly years of not using it I get an email saying I have a pact this week. Uh no I don't and if I get charged after having to redownload this app just to recancel I'll be pissed.
The ios version is way better. The pact keep crashing when I log in a gym. Or I can't go back to the exercise to see the progress so I have to start over. The payout is also going down. I've been a user for a couple a years now and I use to get 40/50 cents per activity. Now barely at 20... thinking about stopping using it cause of the bugs. update: it crashes every time I have the alert that I've reached 30 minutes in the gym. If I click on that notification instead of my check-in one, it crashes and I loose my activity
Used to love the app. No longer able to use it due to integration issue that will be "fixed soon" but from what I read has been over a year. Also since the Android update cant take vege photos. Time to stop using.
Absolute scam. Had multiple 30+ minute work days ''not count''. They fix it almost right after you address it. I had pact for $10 a day, didn't go twice. Was charged $40. Still waiting to hear back.
I love this app! It's a great idea and really keeps me on target because nothing motivates like money! Any problems I've had are small and were mostly my fault, and the admin are quick to respond, efficient and extremely helpful! I recommend this to everyone, especially people who need a little push and want to make money for living healthy!
I had an issue with the company charging me for bonus days on the veggie pact. I made contact with them and they said they would refund me and they are still figuring out the veggie photo issue. I haven't had issues contacting customer support and getting a response. You just have to go to report an issue. I never did get the refund for what they took out when I was on bonus days. $75 is a lot to be gone!
I used to LOVE this app but now it won't allow me to submit veggie photos via phone or tablet. I've had to use an old phone to keep up with that pact. I've put everything on hold for upcoming weeks. I refuse to pay due to the app not being compatible with my LG V20. Please fix this!!!!
