Loved it until It worked great and I loved it until the fitbit stopped working. I'm a little bummed about that. I hope they correct that. But I gave them an extra star because I emailed them and they were quick to respond and changed my pact for the week so I wouldn't lose any money due to the syncing problem with the fitbit. If they fix the fitbit sync and all the other apps still work correctly I'll up my rating.
Think "little carrot, really big stick" It's a pretty good app. You will only make about 8 to 25 cents per item, so yes, there is a big difference between what you risk and what you can make, but it's a great motivator, and $3 a week is better than none. I've had great experiences with customer service as needed too. START SMALL until you get familiar with the app and rules. Seriously.
Amazing Customer Support While most app developers are really hard to get a hold of, the Pact team is really great about getting back to you in a timely manner and working with you to solve the issue. No other app in my experience has ever had such a professional and courteous team. If I could give them a ten star rating I would. Thanks so much for all your help Pact team!
Needs Pebble Watch support I've used this app for a few years now, it's a good motivator week by week. However, still needs Pebble Watch support for step tracking/in general. You'd think these guys would have gotten around to that by now. Have contacted customer support before, just said they'll look in to it. Guess there isn't enough interest. Not everyone is a Fitbit person. Add support and I'll change my rating. I'll be waiting while I get my workouts and veggies in other ways.
Nice idea, app needs some improvement I need accountability so this is a great idea for me. But I'd suggest a confirmation step when ending workouts. Twice now I've had workouts cancelled accidentally because I hit the end button accidentally before the 30 min was up. Once was even after the notification that I'd hit the 30 min workout complete mark - that one could be a bug.
App does not work, will charge you $ anyway The app will not work to take photos required to fulfill your pact. I've contacted customer service all week and they have never replied to offer help or cancel my account. Up until recently things worked. I've used pact for months previously. A few weeks ago it stopped syncing to fitbit for all users, pact knew and was never taken care of. Save yourself, don't download this app.
