Publication Principles
In fact, depending on the freedom of the press, there is no specific "text of principles" in our law that press organizations and press members have to comply with. Naturally, there are no legally binding principles or rules for press organizations and press members beyond the general legal rules.

For this reason, members of the press are obliged to comply with the general rules of the law in their work. However, there are some basic principles adopted and announced by the Press Council operating in our country.

The basic principles we accept are as follows:

Nobody in the publications; not to condemn or humiliate because of their race, gender, age, health, physical disability, social level and religious beliefs,
Limiting freedom of thought, conscience and expression; not to broadcast that shocking or offending the general understanding of morality, religious feelings, the basic foundations of the family institution,
Journalism, which is a public duty, should not be used for unethical private purposes and interests,
Not to use expressions that humiliate, humiliate or defame individuals and organizations beyond the limits of criticism,
Not to be the subject of broadcasting, except when the private life of persons and public interests require it,
Not publishing the news, whose investigation is within the possibilities of journalism, without being investigated or being sure of its accuracy,
Not publishing the information provided on condition of confidentiality, unless the public interest seriously requires it,
Before the distribution process of a press organ is completed, the product produced by that press organ with special efforts should not be presented to the public by another press as if it was its own product, and to pay attention to the source of the special products received from the agencies,
Not to declare anyone "guilty" unless it is determined by a court order that they are guilty,
Not to attribute acts deemed as a crime by the law to anyone unless there are reasonable grounds to believe that they are true,
The journalist must protect the confidentiality of his sources. Source's public opinion personal, political, economic and so on. The cases that it aims to mislead for reasons are excluded.
Refraining from doing the journalist duty with methods and attitudes that may compromise the dignity of his / her title,
Refraining from publishing that encourages violence and bullying and that hurt human values,
To indicate these qualities of publications in the form of advertisements and advertisements in a way that leaves no room for hesitation,
Respecting the time record set for the date of publication,
To respect the right to reply and refutation arising from the press organs, wrong publications.
