Love the app - and a fix suggestion Habit Factor Pro crashes when I select Backup on my Galaxy Tab 4 (Android 4.4.2) - can this fix be prioritized please?
Great idea, great book, bad app. Update: Revised to 4 stars based on excellent support!... I'm still implementing the habit factor and I like it. I think the methodology is genius yet simple. HOWEVER, the difference between this app and a paper worksheet is minuscule. Why build an app without utilizing technological tools as simple as scheduling and reminders? I think that with the addition of just those two features, the relevance of its methodology on a smartphone will finally be apparent.
Upgraded from free to paid, but can't use it on my new HTC One I upgraded from the free version about a year ago, and I was very happy to do so because the app was formatted to fit my old Razr M. However, when I upgraded last month to the HTC One, I find that I am unable to save my habits because the save button is buried under the toolbar when I scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't make a difference. I loved the app and I love the phone. How can we get them to work better together? Is this a glitch with KitKat?
The Habit Factor is one of the top apps that I use on a daily basis. It is a great tool to help me measure my success. This is one of the apps that I will never delete from my phone. I also purchased the Habit Factor book to gain a better understanding of the principles behind the app. There is also great customer support.
Good intent, bad implementation (Pro Version) Good concept, but a bad "port" from an iPhone design IMO(bad ux/ui design & functionality for Android). This app hasn't been updated in 2+ years and I feel it needs it badly. It doesn't support the Android user experience at all. It doesn't save your location on the tabs and back out properly (stack), no ability to reorder your habits in terms of priority, the Android back button closes the app instead of put you back to the previous screen you were on. I've barely scratched the surface.
Best widget! My problem isn't just getting into the habit, it's REMEMBERING. The widget takes up a SINGLE square of my home screen & it's attractive (that's important to me). It just shows the logo and a red number. When I've done it all, the number goes away and I feel a sense of pride in getting the number cleared. (It's like a little reward) Also it takes me straight to the checklist (convenient). No other app (and I've bought lots) has such a great widget to remind me. Since using this I've been doing much better!
