I sincerely wish I could figure out what all the 4 and 5 star reviewers found to love in Summoner. This game looks and feels incomplete to me. It's like the developer was 80% done, with nothing left to do but create the tutorial, menus and help text, when they said, "eh... good enough. Let's go get some pizza." 🍕
Absolutely great time killer. Very nice, as my opinion this great pixy game need something to upgrade, First, the control is very comfort for one hand use, but maybe it will be more comfortable if the control is set to be used in one handed. Second, maybe this kind of games do not have a storyline, but in this game i found that every stage and bosses have a similarity, for example All monster in stage 48 is all a aquatic monster and in stage 40 is a bunch of monster from hell, so for me it will be more interesting if the developer add a storyline by changing the background wallpaper based on monster in every stages. Hope this will help you make the game better, i'll wait for the next update. Thank you..
I really love the pixel art and animations, and would keep playing this game just to unlock more characters. But its gameplay seems pretty generic. It features upgradable skills, summons, allies, and bonuses, as well as reincarnation that adds gold bonus. Unfortunately , there isn't much you can do other than upgrading: just keep pressing the summon button, occasionally tapping the skills, and watch ads. This wouldn't be a big problem if the game could be played as an idle game, but as it is, it may need more contents to make the player want to keep playing. Items, equipments, more backgrounds and characters, for example. The game already has a great potential, so I'd like to see more updates in the future turn it into a masterpiece.
I really love the game it's very fun and challenging. I got one suggestion though: when you fight the shadow summoner can he summon shadow versions of the hero's and monsters you have unlocked? Thanks for reading this! Have a great day.
This game was super fun. I played for almost 5 hours straight until I beat level 100. The art looks cool, the power up system is great. The game required minimal effort which at first I disliked. After playing, I enjoy the barrage of numbers on the screen and the grinding up to bosses
If it had more animations for attacks and more interesting, dynamic backgrounds it wouldn't be so boring. The game also doesn't always acknowledge my button presses on upgrades. The book holding could have been avoided altogether by making summoning automatic. Since the game itself is so simple anyway all the finger press serves to do is occupy our hand when we could do use it for better multitasking purposes. It should be full idle or contain far more depth to warrant mandatory button presses. In the end, it's a brainless time waster with a handful of cute pixel art.
