A very good card game, but the implementation is a huge memory hog both for running memory and storage. They require an internet connection just to launch the game, so that they can stick advertisements for their other games and DLC into the app you paid for. They have an awful update process where, when they release artwork for one new card, you have to free up over a gigabyte of space on your device to update - and they won't let you play until you have accommodated, and made room for, the gigantic download. A download which cannot be done in the background - you must keep your game open, while it forbids you from playing. Edit: To reply to Handelabra's response, during the most recent update, you could play most of the base characters and base villains, but none of the DLC.which makes up the vast majority of the content.
The game is great, even the card version is great. My only problem is that this company is basically pulling the same business model as the likes of EA and bungie with a dash of shady car dealer thrown in. By that I mean charging a premium for small amounts of content and misleading you to the actual savings you could make by buying their season pass.
This game has some performance issues and I'm not sure things are balanced fairly, but it's really fun.
Amazing card game. Worth the price of admission. I've been playing this game for close to a year and it continues to delight.
