I've finally had to do it! My settings are on refresh each 15 minutes and you are portraying a boondoggle! When in doubt, which is often now, I call the airport here in Montrose, Colorado!, to get real time weather, especially temperatures! AccuWeather and Underground Weather are continuously much more accurate and refreshed much more often! Without a doubt Intellicast was far superior and accurate!, but sadly seems to be in limbo at best! Their reporting was accurate, timely, and great radar as well as the rest! I was never trying to find an app I could trust!

A very well made and put together weather app. I've used most of the top rated weather apps on Google play, and I keep coming back to this one. I just like the clean user interface and design, no excess stuff, just what you need to get through the day and check what's coming up in the near future! Nice Job Weather 1! One suggestion I do have, can we get lightning strikes on the radar map?

The design makes this app and it's widgets probably one of the best looking you'll find. However, while running the app gives you detailed and accurate forecasts, the widget itself was consistently and unfailingly wrong. All day it said the temperature was 33 degrees, when in reality it had been 51. It isn't as if the widget needed more time to update either. It simply was wrong all day, and by a seriously large margin. So it resulted in an uninstall. Great, promising design. Always wrong, and by quite a lot! Edit: It's been a long while, and the temperature seems to be very accurate lately. So I'm changing the review to five stars!

It's a shame. The app is beautiful and full featured, but I don't know where it's pulling it's weather information from because it is literally ALWAYS wrong. Every day it is off my up to 5C on the current temp, not predicted temp, CURRENT temp. Same with rain forecast, it will blanketly say "90% rain" and not say how much so you think all day showers, but in reality it rains 1mm in total. If you want pretty, use this app. If you want accurate, use something like The Weather Network

Fun weather app! Nice, nice, nice. Best weather app I have come across. The info you want is right there. Not real crazy about the colors, maybe you could have it so you can change font color. Otherwise love it. Edit 6-27-17 still live the app however... what did you do to the detailed forecast? That is not detailed. It used to be detailed. This is short and quick. I hate that new part. Bring back the old!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH!!!! Love this app! Easy download, plenty of accurate information, very easy to customize to your liking, follows you wherever you go. Like I said, the information is extremely accurate from the radar, forecasts & predictions, near and future. Had a small issue with the background picture and they worked with me until the issue was resolved. 1 Weather, Thank you so much for all of your help! I wish every app owner/developer would learn how to take care of customers like 1 Weather does!!!!

This was my favorite weather app for ages until it stopped updating properly. I've tried the fixes suggested in the other reviews but to no avail. Just going to have to uninstall and wait for a later version to come out. Bummer. Once the issue is fixed I'll happily bump my review up to 5 stars!
This app has gotten better with age. I find myself relying on it more and more due to its accurate information. One small issue though. When I go into details about the forecast for instance, there is no "Back" button. There's no easy way to get back to Today for instance. I have to keep pressing the phone's back button. Other than that it's a great app that's come a long way.
I like the new look. A lot clearer then the previous one. Widgets have great customizability - perfect for what I need on my homescreen. However one of the widgets (4x2 clock) has a problem when I change the display size option in the Nougat settings. The text becomes too big compared to everything else. I didn't notice this problem in other widgets.
Update: three stars, because widget does not update automatically any longer. Only updates when I open the app! One the things I love about this app is the widget. It's compact without being cutesy, informative without looking cluttered. Fits in very well on my smartphone home screen! Well done!

Hi, which widget are you using? We've been working to optimize as much as we can, but in some cases, we're finding there's not much we can do to prevent Android from shutting us down in the background on Android 6 and 7. I love this app. The only problem I have with it is the ads. Im ok with a pop up ad on a free app but the ads pop up when I am looking at the radar. Several times I have tried to look at the radar for tornado warnings and an ad pops up. Putting ads on the radar is poor taste, especially when there is dangerous weather coming. This really needs to be looked into so that bad weather is not overlooked.
App does as advertised with some good widgets. But now they black out the widget every few days unless you directly open the app or pay for the full edition. Since this was on the top of my home screen, that got annoying to look at, so now I've uninstalled it. Probably not the response they were looking for, but they shouldn't have made the app annoying. Too bad.
Used this app for years on multiple devices. It has everything I look for in a weather app except for a pollen forecast. I don't know why but it's much more accurate than many others I've used. I figured they all more or less received weather data from the same few places. Good job. A beautiful and customizable app and I appreciate the sun and moon data. Please if possible add pollen data. I also enjoy the weather facts on startup. Thanks.
Need to lose the white cards or crate a user option. See Today Wether UI. Also, allow for dark notifications with white letters. Need to be able to pick weather providers. Some are more accurate than others in certain areas. Lastly, the discussion text are riddled with HTML code. Please fix. Like the app and widgets overall. Just needs some TLC and a face-lift on the UI.

Hi, we're working on some updated theming with options for transparency on the cards. What locations are you seeing issues with the discussion text? Usually if there's markup in the copy, it's actually in the original text we receive in the feed. Warnings and alerts do not come up unless you open the app! Reported by numerous others here in the reviews and not being dealt with by the developer. UPDATE: 5/10/2017 I've been working with them on this and some fixes on their backend have resulted in correction of the problem. Only pain point was that it took a LOT of convincing that the problem was not on my end. Being persistent paid off.

Hi, not disbelief, just a lot of information required to be able to determine exactly what needed to be done to improve things. We thank you for your assistance and persistence. This use to be Hands down the best weather app. But now When iam trying to see if iam about to get killed by a Tornado i have to watch some lame 30 sec Ad. Not real practical ya know! Deleting now and Moving to Weather bug. L8ter.
Why can you not report an accurate temperature? The app is 10 degrees off. Even after refreshing multiple times. I paid for this app. At the very minimum, I'd expect you to be able to accurately report the temperature. I get that forecasts are ever changing and can be difficult, but the temperature? Come on!
The app certainly has a lot of features that would make a weather app. The problem is that it refuses to ever be able to detect my location and if I have more than one location added to the app, the widget will never show the weather for any location besides the first one with no obvious way to change it.

First, please go into your device settings to applications to 1Weather to permissions to and ensure that the location permission is allowed. Second, go into 1Weather to settings, to widgets, select the widget you have placed and verify that it is set to "My Location" and not a static location. This app was near flawless until recently. I have the app settings follow me as I've always had & now it shows the forecast from two towns over that I drive thru for work. I live in Adrian 49221 & this app always showed that towns info & for any town I was in. Now it's inaccurate. Disappointing. This problem didn't start until recently. Guess it's time to shop for another accurate app
I've used nearly all weather apps on Android and 1Weather has been very consistent and accurate. However, the notifications for severe weather have been a hit/miss. I've gotten notifications for storms moments before they happen while one I got happened 30+ minutes after the rain came and gone. Likely because of Texas weather, but still headscratching.
Used to be my go to app. I've had a problem with it for a while now. I paid to remove ads and when I installed on my new phone the ads came back. Developer gave me "advice" by email to reboot my phone, clear the play app cache. I was also promised that this would get fixed in the next update. That was on 12/09/2016! I just havent had time to chase them up. Will be contacting the play store to mediate for a refund out of principle. So annoying.
This app is better and more stable than AccuWeather. My AccuWeather "Platinum" app that I paid for was not reliable whatsoever. The app kept crashing and shutting down. Why pay for something if you can't use it. So I got a refund from AccuWeather and downloaded the 1Weather app. So far it is great! I will be purchasing the ad free version. Thank you..!!
1.) Please 'design' this app to update when you turn mobile data or WiFi on. It will only update when I'm forced to open the app. No battery saving is turned on 2.) The new theme is horrendous. I miss your old layout. It's difficult to differentiate what I'm looking for and looking at 3.) Rain drop symbol for snow? 4.) Estimated amount of snow/rain fall each day would be appreciated. Not just the % chance it'll happen

1. Looking into it, but it can use battery. Doze in Android 6 can also kill background updates, trying some other things. 2. We are working on additional themes, but it takes some time, we're implementing a lot of the customer feedback we have received. 3. Need detail to troubleshoot further. can provide via Help, Contact Support in the app. Years later and still the same problem. The clock does not always stay updated and it has caused issues where I look at it and think I've got an hour or so that I really don't have. The forecast, radar, and everything else is pretty good and I really like the app overall...
Regularly gets the current weather completely wrong, and not just because of isolated storms. Entire regions' current weather is wrong. Predictions are just as bad or worse. Two stars for getting at least the peak temperature correct to within +/-3 °C.
Overall I like the app but I really wish I could get rid of the weather alerts once I view them on the widget. I hate seeing the red triangle constantly because it really sticks out and is not necessary after I read the alert initially. Also, when looking at the radar screen there should be a way to zoom without hitting the small square in the corner everytime. Fix this and it's a 5-star app for sure.
Would have given 5 stars if not for the new full page pop up ads that pull you completely out of the app. If these are not changed I will delete and find different weather app, was a decent app now I can't get it to even load the radar screen, probably going to uninstall and find another
Paid Version: Constantly fails to correctly predict Weather Outlook for Chester, Cheshire, UK and getting worse not better. Example 8 pm 16/05/2017 app says it raining. Reality is Glorious Sunshine ! Excellent app layout just useless for correctly predicting the weather for Chester. The Met Office Online Forecast is almost always correct for Chester
One of the main reasons I purchased 1Weather app was I seen it was enhanced for Android Wear device. Sadly it has never worked on my phone. Not a single notification has been push to my phone. FYI this app doesn't provide a standalone app on Android Wear either so don't bother looking for it on your watch. So disappointed?
This is my favorite weather app. It unlike some others is readable! And I can easily find forecasts unlike some other apps with tiny - impossible to read icons. Current radar works great. It fulfills its purpose instead of adding silly cosmetics that ruin useableness. Thanks!
Aesthetically, it's nice. The features it has are pretty decent and the navigation is alright for the most part. I mostly use this app for temperatures and radar. As for rain predictions, most of the time it's 50%. It either will rain... Or it won't. Only the clouds know. Then going to radar immediately throws an ad. Would be better if it came when leaving the radar.
Only one small thing I'd like added (and this applies to most weather apps) is the pollen index for the selected location. Otherwise I love it so far. (Update 8-16-17) just about perfect now, thanks guys keep up the good work!
This app also tends to place me a good hour and a half northeast of my home position. At least this weather app will get my location correct after refreshing several times. Funny, Google maps always knows where I am. Why can't the weather apps get it right?
Visually this app has everything that i want from the weather app. Widget has all the important info one would like to access quickly. But unfortunately, weather forecast is really inaccurate. According the app current temperature 4°C, feels like 4, but in reality 14°C. Things like this happen too often that i will have to search further for an another app
Good app, used to be better before ads were added. I get that the company needs to make money but the ads routinely fail to load and just sit on a black screen. Then it takes 4 and 5 times of closing and reopening before I can see what I was looking up.
With WeatherBug Elite no longer being updated it was time to find a new weather app. This app seems to have improved since I last tried it. The widgets are nice and there is a lot of information. So far it appears accurate. Doesn't show in battery use at all. Nice. Update 5/20/17: A recent app update added two permissions I did not agree with. I emailed the developer and they promptly replied explaining one of the permissions and admitting a code oversight that caused the other permission, which was removed in the next app update. Responsive developer = happy users.

We do our best to try and make sure that customers are happy. Thanks for checking out the app again! I've been using 1Weather because it has the best widgets and I've given thoughts of buying it. Sadly the latest update broke the widget. No matter what I do it doesn't update automatically. Even after going into the app and refreshing doesn't update the widget. I've tried everything what's possible to fix this on my phone (Huawei Honor 8) with no luck :/ *EDIT* Update 4.0.5 made the app and widget work flawlessly but 4.0.6 broke widget update again.

There are no code changes in 4.0.6 other than removing the WRITE_CALENDAR permission, nothing related to widget functionality at all. Have you tried removing and replacing the widget? Which widget are you using currently? I have had this app for a long time, it was my favorite. No longer. The UV is stuck on either 8, 9 or 10 when it's at night or when it's raining. Speaking of rain, it shows that it's cloudy. Then after the rain passes, then it shows it's raining. I don't know who dropped the ball on this app, but please fix the bugs. Quickly. Make it reliable again.

the UV index published in our 1Weather forecasts is based on clear sky days and doesn't take into account clouds, rain, pollution or reflectors. The figure given is a daily metric for the predicted maximum for the day. Most observation stations update once an hour. So storm may have popped up prior to the forecast being updated. This is my preferred weather app. I use it on a daily basis because it tells me everything I need to know for planning my day and week. It's just a great app and very simple to use. I have been using it for years and never had any glichs!
So disappointed with the changes made in this app. I uninstalled it for a while and came back to try it again. It does not keep up with the temperature on the notification bar even though it's open. I also don't like the changes you made with the app icon. It looks trashy. I am uninstalling. Galaxy S5
