Review from Christopher Ross
Im happy When sharing tweets they dont include all the garbage that orig twitter app does, makes it much easier to share tweets w friends. No problems so far
Great app, Marshmallow crash fixed I used TC on my phone when it had Android 5 without problems. Now with Android 6 it keeps crashing when I click on the new tweet icon. Help! Edit 3/14 - bug acknowledged by developer affecting some MM devices, previous version installed and works fine again. Edit 3/16 - as per developer, selecting all permissions in latest version of the app solves the issue, thanks for the tech tip.
No longer loads after upgrading my G4 to Android Marshmallow. Every time I try to launch it, it shows "Unfortunately, TweetCaster has stopped." Update 2016-05-29: After checking the permissions, per the reply from OneLouder Apps, TweetCaster is now working properly! I had to give TweetCaster permission to access my location. No more issues with it force closing.
Powerful management tools This app blows the official Twitter app out of the water. You can seamlessly manage two accounts, tweet to a specific account or both accounts at the same time. What's most impressive though is that you can interact with the twitterverse in multiple ways with a couple of taps. I've used this app for about a month and have only had it crash once. Impressive for a tool with so many robust features.
Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge Issues *update I love this app, but I can't use it now. It's just force closes the second I open it. Any help would be great. **** thank you for the help. It works like a charm. I think you guys need to build in the fact that there are no permissions like a couple of the other apps that I have. Thanks again for your quick response.
Sprint HTC One m9 with Marshmallow Paid app. Great for managing Twitter accounts. It has a nice side benefit of being easy to use use for posting to Facebook if you have uninstalled the Facebook app and are just using the browser. App can butt heads with Android Marshmallow. Going into the Android settings and enabling permissions for TweetCaster in applications seems to be the fix. App will crash if you don't back out of it which is a pain, but it's worth it to get the benefits. Developer is quick to respond to issues which is important.
New update sucks For whatever reason, the app crashes every time I try to tweet. On top of that, it wouldn't allow me to change my profile pic either. It was working perfectly fine so idk what happened. I'm about to uninstall...I've had this app for years and I never had a problem until now.
