Needs some major changes Crops photos with a handy template. One would assume that this cropping would also translate into the actual correct measurement for a passport photo when you print it. It does not. It makes the photo into a giant square when I brought it to the Bartell's kiosk. Ended up shelling out $9 to get a passport photo in the traditional way. Now that I think about it, not really much of an inconvenience to physically go to the local drugstore to get a passport photo. What an app for that??
Spent ages fighting it. Struggled to understand how to use this and frequently couldn't get it to shrink a pic to fit the guidelines bc pic kept bouncing back to prior size. Once i finally got the pic i spent ages trying to get it to print. In the end I used an ordinary camera then uploaded the pic onto the state dept travel website that let's you adjust the pic their guidelines then it crops the pic to the size they require for passports. Then i uploaded pic to a publisher doc with a passport picture template. Much easier.
The application is very worse designed. The USA passport photo requirement asks for the head of being sized between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inch. If you match your head perfectly with the app's head gridline, your head will be 1 3/8 inch. A well designed app should keep a SAFE head gridline, i.e., from 1 1/8 inch to 1 2/8 inch. A head gridline of the maximum size, i.e., 1 3/8 inch, is NOT a safe windows.
Disappointed!!! Making passport photos by creating new picture works well but while I select saved photos then the screen goes blank. I am using Samsung Galaxy s3 4.4.4. Is there any fix for this bug? If so I will rate 5 star.
Useless apps if you can't allow to print out the correct size. I tried every paper settings of my canon printer, fit to page, borderless or so. but still couldn't print a page of photo ID 50mmx50mm on a 4R photo paper. Just not the size it said it should be printing.
Very easy to use Don't understand why others complained about this app. Very easy to use. You specify the dimensions for country passport/visa requirements. I managed a useable photo on the first try. Whole thing took about 45 seconds and I hate taking selfies.
Added 40 new country sizes!
