The probe cannot be located through the Hanna Labs app. My Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Bluetooth can locate the probe but will not connect without a PIN. I've sent an email to tech support but, based on other reviews, am guessing the response will be less than helpful. I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing the probe.
Probe works fine on iOS but cannot be found using the Android app (can been found using manual Bluetooth scan, just not in the app). In addition the support email address in the app bounces. If you have a SW QA department, fire them, if you don't, hire them
App is useless. Tried it on my Samsung S4 mini and a 2017 Samsung A3 . Both phones see the Halo device on Bluetooth, but the app doesn't. Bluetooth keeps asking for a PIN to connect. May work on a iPhone, but who knows?
S8 Plus finds the probe just fine, app doesn't. Waste of time and money.
Doesn't work on Android. My. Phone's Bluetooth settings see the probe, but it won't connect (asks for a PIN). The probe is not recognized in the app at all. The app works very well on all of my coworkers iPhones.
Followed Tech's suggestions for my S7 edge, still nothing. They also say if you have a fitbit, it can cause interference. I was hoping it would have a least worked on our Research Student's iPhone, calibrating was terrible also...
