Review from Seb Lorenz
Glad it's back!
29/8/17 It seems like the developer has returned and picked up where it left off. The app's back up and running pretty smoothly. It still has some ways to go in order to better its competitors but I'm glad that SwipeFB is back :) 3/6/17 It used to be great but recently the app has been giving issues. Developer seems to have abandoned it as well since there's been no updates for quite some time.
I don't think update 7.2.7 is doing what you think it is. I still have all the same problems that I had before this core rework. Lagging, unresponsive touch. This application has become nothing but an annoyance. I paid for the pro, jokes on me.
[append review from free version] you can inject code, and other cool stuff. This app is closest to skinny Facebook you can get besides loading up the oldest possible .apk, and locking it to the ground... Then you'll still want this one. 11/20 Unhappy customer right now. Looking for another app until developer decides to innovate in a beta extension.
Still unusable after updates. I can't paste my password into the login screen. It won't even prompt LastPass. The app is still unresponsive and I can't click on notifications. Fix it or provide me a refund, please.
Edit: i've been talking too soon. There are really too many of those little issues, and it is getting irritating. One more example - swiping between pics (which if finally here) doesn't show you all the pics, its stops at the point where it would dynamically load more of them while scrolling. Hasn't been on this app for a long time, decided to give it a try, and has been positively surprised. There are still some minor issues, like sharing a pic from another app showing an add picture screen with the pic not shown but already added, aslo, not enabling immersive mode while viewing pics in full screen mode (although it seems to be enabled on videos) etc.
Best Facebook alternative out there. I've tried them all. Only complaint is pictures flicker when clicking to them to view them. 7.27 seems to bring back the speed and stability.
NEW in 7.2.7:
• A new, refined app core that includes all the performance gains from the 7.2.x core, without all the bugs, and with the stability of 7.1.1.
• Fixed issue where there is no response to touch / clicking doesn't work
• Fixed issue with responsiveness degrading on the News Feed when scrolling
• Fixed bug where old notifications are being published again
