Ratings and reviews

The good things first: The video and photo quality are good even when recording under difficult conditions such as rainy nights. I can tell from the videos where I was driving and the quality is good enough that I can read road signs, street names, etc. The GPS and speed overlay on the video is very helpful. And the user interface is pretty straightforward. Now for the bad: The app doesn't change recording mode from portrait to landscape and vice versa based on how the device is oriented. You have to manually set it up. The auto-start and auto-stop of the recording are completely broken. It will continue recording long after I have turned the car off and left even though I have set the auto stop to 1 minute after charger disconnect, Similarly, auto-start will sometimes come on, sometimes not. And sometimes, it will suddenly lose some permission and will throw up a dialog or error instead of auto-starting. Overall, quite hit or miss.

This works pretty well, but recently it's stopped automatically starting/stopping when the car is turned off. I've rebooted, reinstalled, still doesn't seem to help it. That and it doesn't automatically delete videos off the card, so it's not really recording anything. When it works, it's really great. Just need a fix for the auto start/stop and the auto-delete old files and it'd get more stars.

It works good except for on major problem. No matter what I set the max storage to be in the settings, it won't automatically delete older recordings. As s result it fills up my phone to the point of crashes then I have to go in and manually delete recordings. I wish I hadn't paid for pro and will be demanding a refund. I have attempted to get support from the developer but have gotten no response after multiple emails.
