Unicode Keyboard is a supplementary keyboard that allows you to enter any Unicode 6.0 character or symbol in any active text field.
When you want to add a character that your normal keyboard doesn't include, you simply switch input method to Unicode Keyboard, enter the characters you want and then switch the input method back to your usual keyboard. (Includes a convenient button for switching back.)
• Searchable, block grouped, list of all possible characters.
• Characters can also be entered directly by hexadecimal code.
• Remembers your last nine used characters and provides shortcuts for them so you don't have to go searching every time.
★ Want to type a Ω, µ, ☺, ∞, or ANY other Unicode symbol? Use Unicode Keyboard! ★
To enable the keyboard after installation go to Settings -> Language and Keyboards and then tick the Unicode Keyboard checkbox.
To activate the keyboard hold on a text area where you want to use it and select Input Method from the dialog that appears. Then select Unicode Keyboard. Select and insert the characters you want then tap the keyboard button at the bottom to switch back to your previous input method.
Note: Character display requires font support on the viewing system.
(You can enter any valid character but most will not be visible on your Android device and many will not be visible on your PC without an appropriate font installed. The characters will still work when sent to other services, they just don't display correctly on your phone.)

The app "SymbolsPanel" can accept symbols settings from other app. SymbolsPanel Builder generates settings for new symbols, and sends to SymbolsPanel.
In SymbolsPanel, turn on "Enable configure mode" and "Accept incoming settings".
Specifying symbols to generate
▷By character sequence
Specify characters directly (ex. Specifying "○△□✕" will generate for "○","△","□" and "✕".)
▷By range of code
Specify range of unicode (ex. Specifying "from 41 to 5A" will generate for each character from "A" to "Z".)
▷By Unicode block
(Available if "Unicode Name Database" is installed.)
Specify blocks to generate (ex. Specifying "Cyrillic" and "Arabic" will generate for all characters of those, even if not displayable on the device)
Symbols will be registered to specified page. This page will be newly created even if existing page has same name.
When specifying by block, the block name is used for page name.
Press "Build/Send" button to start building settings. After built, a application list to select where settings will be sent to will appear. If you want to set to SymbolsPanel soon, select "SymbolsPanel setting." Or, you can select a editor or memo app to write settings out.
※Hide a software keyboard from screen before pressing "Build/Send" button (by pressing Done/Enter key on keyboard or Back key of device).
Generated settings may contain undisplayable symbols. Use "Unicode Map" or similar apps to find symbols which can be shown.
Examples of range of code
▷0100～017F Latin Extended-A
▷2500～257F Box Drawing
Displayable on Android 2.2 or later:
Turn your text upside down, flip it around, convert it to binary, hexadecimal, or a MD5 hash. Also includes many other wacky transformations.
Once you've transmogrified some text, you can even copy the transformations into your clipboard and post it to the web, in an email, or to your favorite social networks.
NOTE: Even as of 4.2, Android's Unicode support is a bit lacking. As a result, some characters may not appear inside transformation rows (the entire row might even be blank). Never fear, however, as the characters themselves are still there; if you post the transformation online and view it on a device capable of supporting those Unicode characters, you'll see them just fine.
1)Download text from Web page.
2)Copy text to clipboard.
3)Download linked Web pages.
4)Download text to SD Card and view saved history text.
-SD Card required to use this App.
-App cannot display unicode character correctory.
-History view sorting incorrect.
-Font size improvement
-I fixed a force close issue.
Note that appearance of characters depends on your system font, which in turn is dependent on Android version. Unavailable characters may appear as empty boxes, or as nothing at all.
An offline Malayalam Transliteration App using Mozhi scheme. You can also copy/paste Malayalam unicode text to the input control to convert square characters to Malayalam if your device doesn't have Malayalam font.
New in v1.6+
You can now use this app as a direct input method (keyboard)
Step 1. Enable keyboard from Home -> Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Varamozhi Transliteration
Step 2. Long press on any input box, touch Input method and select Varamozhi Transliteration
Step 3. As you type, you can see transliterated Malayalam text on top of the keyboard.
Step 4. Touch Malayalam text to replace Manglish text in the input box (You might see only squares if you don't have Malayalam font or text without complex layout, but target device will show text correctly if it supports complex layout and font)
Step 5. Touch again to replace Malayalam with Manglish in the input box
Mozhi - Overview: https://sites.google.com/site/cibu/mozhi
Note: When you copy or share Malayalam text to other apps, it might look as square characters if you don't have unicode font in your device. But it will show correctly if the target device/app has the unicode font. You can test it by sending a sample text from the app to your email and view email on desktop.

✘What are these boxes?!
Boxes mean the current font does not have a glyph for a given character. Some fonts have many characters defined, some have just a few. Though not all fonts assign glyphs to every character, copy and pasting boxes will transfer the correct character data. Try selecting a different font from the Options menu or loading a True-Type font from your SD card. HappyChar now provides the option to skip and not display these characters when browsing.
※ Instructions ※
☞Clicking a character will append it to the clipboard sandbox at the bottom of the screen. Copy the sandbox to the clipboard by clicking the clipboard icon.
☞Long clicking a character will launch the character inspector which shows the byte order breakdown for the character in different unicode encodings.
☞Mark favorites by clicking the happy face in the character inspector. View your favorites by pressing MENU->Favorites.
☞View phrases by pressing MENU->Phrases. Enter new phrases by pressing the green Add button at the top of the screen. Phrases can be copied, edited, or deleted by pressing the utility buttons in each list item.
☞Click the top bar in between the left and right arrows to show the section list and jump to the any section of the unicode basic multilingual plane.
☞Any True-Type font may be loaded into HappyChar. Select Font from the MENU->Options page, and select “Scan SD Card” from the list to initiate a search for True-Type fonts in the SD Card. Fonts may be placed anywhere on the sd-card. To cancel the search press the BACK button.
✘Custom fonts are not available for desktop widgets to use at this time.
✘Desktop widgets are unavailable if installed to SD Card.
