Online Gaming catches up to chess Great app for chess teachers and chess students. You have an option to make moves over many days, which is good for old pals who want to stay in touch but are too busy. Plus, it has a chat function to communicate but... after a few hours or days... you tend to forget what your plan of action was to begin with. If there was a speedy version to play a full game in like 10 minutes, it would be the perfect online chess app.
Great App This is a straight forward program. I've experienced no problems with it and it uses very little of my data to play. The chat feature is cool too. Still rocking this awesome free app a year or two later.
game not working error message "Unable to connect to server Chess Time requires server access to function. Please try again later" anyone else getting this message?
Unfortunately... I get the phrase rather frequently that unfortunately it doesn't work, requires me to back out and retry making a move. Otherwise not bad
Good in many ways I'm able to play with others at my own pace and time as well as those I know who are travelling abroad. It's a way for me to connect with them! My only concern is if the en passant move has been incorporated yet... haven't had the chance to try. Oh, another concern is that some opponents tend to be impatient... it's something the developers can't really control, I guess. Still a good application for chess, though.
Horrible battery drain Great chess app, but the fact that its always running sucks. Installed AVG cleaner and discovered Chess Time was consuming 39% of battery use!!! Unbelievable! Will log out after each use now and make chess moves on my own free time.
