App doesn't work for casting to the TV. Nothing happens when I press play, and it is not possible to play things using the phone browser either, as HBO prompts you to download this app which doesn't work. Disappointing considering that I pay to watch the content but they can't deliver a platform to watch it on. If it was at least possible to play things directly from the browser it wouldn't have been a big deal. So should i cancel my subscription?

Runs ok on an Android tablet. It "crashes" but you can ignore the prompt and keep playing. Except when it freezes, then I have to hard restart the tablet. What really bothers me is that on a newer Android phone with better hardware than the tablet, video then sound too, constantly. Except when I tap my finger on the screen to show/hide the GUI, then magically it's fine. But I can't sit and tap the screen every second. I can't believe I'm paying for this garbage.

HBO content is great, but the app is horrible. Frequent fails and sudden crashes. The casting feature is even worse; often my stream stops in the middle of an episode and I can't get it to continue, I have to restart the app multiple times for it to work. Suddenly it will act as if an episode is done and it goes to the next one even though I was only half way through the current one. Edit: It is not my internet. Also I don't see how slow internet speed would get an episode to skip ahead.
