Overall great game, but Island X and its card system is rng hell, leading to a frustrating experience. The cards dealt are not rng, but limits your capabilities so much that you have no choice but to pray that the cpu chooses to go in a certain direction leading to a stalemate with another cpu, while you hope to build up enough cards to attack. If at any moment the balance is tipped, it's an instant loss and it's back to redoing the rng.

Thank you for your feedback. I've already reduced the level with the cards from 100% in IslandX to 40% (Version 1.6.6). I have also added a other feature, the goldmine, to the IslandX.
The cards will slowly get more removed in the next updates :)

Update: Still a top tier game. Absolutely love the new Battle Mode with the cycle of community maps to play to keep it fresh. But, Island X is an absolute nightmare with the new card system. I appreciate trying something new, just not for me. The new mines system is a great addition to the game though. Still a 10/10 for me, even with my dislike of cards and I still play a couple games almost every day.

Update: I wanted to try something new with the card mode, but I've seen, that this mode didn't go down well. So, i remove the card mode step by step and add the mines instead. In the new update, there are 40% of the level with card mode and 40% with the mine.

This unassuming game is something special. It's a simple but beautifully complex game. I tend not to spend money on mobile games but purchased the full game because the creator cares about feedback and it isn't a paywall game. When I still had ads, they weren't bad. It can be frustrating to me at times and I have definitely rage quit, but all of my favorite games share that quality. The only problem that I had was getting motion sick on the bigger maps, but disabling "follow AI" fixed that.
