Wordfeud is a multiplayer puzzle game where you can challenge friends and random opponents and play in up to 30 separate games simultaneously!

Create and place words on the 15 by 15 tile board and earn points for creativity and placing letters on the high scoring Double Letter, Double Word, Triple Letter and Triple Word tiles.

Search for friends to play against or allow Wordfeud to match you up with an opponent. Even chat with them - smack talk or praise - it's your choice!

Tired of the same standard board each game? Choose the option to randomize the board and change up where the DL, TL, DW, TW tiles are placed - giving the classic game a new twist!

I would give a five-star. I choose to play with random opponents, and 3 out of 5 do not ever make a move, so they sit in your list for 72hrs before they drop off. It's just really annoying to have to look at them for 72hrs. Update May 2026. Lately, I've stayed with players who like to play. App works great. There are no adds ever. It's still only 4 stars because the dictionary needs updating extremely badly.

mostly enjoyable. What I like about this one is that you can add your friends from your contacts, Facebook, or by username. You can also play against a random opponent. You can also set the board so that the bonus tiles are placed randomly on the board which makes for some interesting scoring and additional level of challenge. What I don't like is that often I will exchange tiles, and get some of the exact same letters back which just means that I wasted a turn. :(

I would rather receive only the most recent notification of my turn, instead of a notification for every game in which it is my turn! Also, I’m enjoying the game overall, but the limit on active games feels a bit too restrictive. I currently have several matches where opponents haven’t taken a turn in over 24 hours, yet I’m blocked from starting a new game. It would be more user-friendly to account for inactive players or allow some flexibility in situations like this.
