Strategy and Tactics: WW2 is a mobile game that will invoke memories of classic PC strategy games set during World War 2.
In the style of the best 4X PC games, you get to lead a nation (from a small state to a superpower) and carry it to global supremacy using not only the might of your army but also economy, science, and - in a first for the series - Diplomacy! Create alliances, send troops and resources to your allies, stir conflict among your neighbors, and be - or don't be - a double-crossing backstabber.
Capturing enemy territory is just one of many paths to victory in ST2. Paradoxically enough, in this offline turn-based strategy, you don't have to go to war to win one: breaking the enemy army's fighting spirit can be enough.
As military commander, you'll take an army of infantry and tanks, fighters and bombers, warships and artillery to war.
As head of state, you'll be choosing the leaders that will lead your nation to supremacy. The strategy is up to you: inaugurate a general, a politician, or even a writer. Each leader brings their specific bonus into the mix and will affect your tactics.

Ratings and reviews

There had been a game destroying bug that has made this game unplayable. Thanks to it, some games are now impossible to play. I cannot recruit more troops. When I do try to recruit troops, the game freezes up. I can scroll around the map, but that's it. I can't select a province for the troops to appear on, and the X in the corner to exit doesn't work. The only way I can exit is to reload the game. Even then, when I try to play the game, I can't recruit.

It's a pretty good game which id recommend, but I wish there was a confirmation to alliance/war, I lost events cause I accidentally allianced someone i was gonna take, there's also an annoying bug where I complete a mission but it didn't count as a win. But. I love how this game gets continuously updated with new content. Love the new naval transport. Mar 2025, I declared war against a country but lost since the 1 man on their border turned into 12 tanks when I attacked. its Bug or im tripping

Been playing since the app first came out and it worked great. Then it started freezing as soon as the main menu screen came up. So I uninstalled it several times and tried again but the same issue kept happening. Uninstalled if for about 6 months and reinstalled it Saturday and it worked fine. But as soon as I finished the mission I was on,( gives you the option to bypass main screen to load the current mission) it is now back to locking up on the main screen.
