Lately I haven't been able to use the barcode scanning function. This is a nice and easy feature for adding the exact item I'm wanting for my husband to pick up. Otherwise I've been loving this app. It's made grocery shopping much easier for my husband and easier for me to make. One thing that would be nice though is if my husband got an alert that new items have been added to the list. Something like a button that I can click that will then alert him on his app that it's been updated/finished.

Best grocery list I've used. It's very fast to go in and add new items as I think of them, especially with the smart suggestions. The sorting by category also works great and is able to accurately place items 9 times out of 10 even for more obscure groceries. Then when it's time to shop I can go through my list by department and quickly check things off on my phone or watch. If my husband is shopping with me, he can even check things off at the same time and I instantly see the updates!

I have loved this app for years, but the recent UI updates have made it less accessible and more challenging to use. In the app you used to be able to click "add a new item" at the bottom of your list. Now there's a green + icon which takes you to a new screen (where you can't see your list any longer). I wish we could toggle back to the old UI.
