What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is an appointment on phone or video, you’ll speak to your practitioner over secure Healthengine video, regular phone, or by using Facetime, WhatsApp or Skype (dependent on the practice set up).

Many health issues can be solved through Telehealth and it’s a great pre-screener to touch base with your healthcare practitioner. Sometimes, the practitioner will need to see you in person and ask you to come in for a follow up appointment, or provide you with the next steps.

Ratings and reviews

Good concept but many flaws. It never retains my favourite Dr. I've been using this app over the last few years and each time I go in, I find my medical practice it asks to save it in my favourite care team. I "❤️" it. Then I find my Dr. and it prompts me to add my Dr to my favourite care team. So I "❤️" it. Next time it's the same. It also doesn't open my scripts. I tried to open my e-scripts and not only did it fault and say it couldn't do it, it stopped any app being able to open them. ☹️

I normally used this apps when making a booking, before,it was alright, but the past 2 booking, they sent email of confirmation, that I am booked, and the day before the booking, they normally send SMS to confirm by saying yes or no, i didnt get any sms. I went to the GP, I was not book, so frustrating. so,I'll call my GP from now on.

easy enough to navigate thru app for practice info & Dr info/book an appointment but if you need telehealth appointment forget it 🤔 it just keeps on bringing you back to all other options for appointments but not telehealth appointment I gave up after 5 attempts & grateful I got the general face to face appointment even thou I did actually want telephone appointment as my car is not working so I am using public transport - not so easy to get to without a vehicle
